I imagine there have been plenty of threads like this on almost every forum out there, but I couldn't resist.

The Riddler is my second favorite Batman villain(second only to the Joker), and I am hoping that he's the villain Bats faces in the next film(if there is one). Names have been rumored since the Dark Knight was released(Johnny Depp, Eddie Murphy...). I personally don't think either of them would be good in the role. I'm currently getting caught up on Heroes and I think I found the perfect candidate, Robert Knepper. Now, if you don't know that name, don't feel to bad. He played Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell on Prison Break and Samuel Sullivan on the fourth season of Heroes. This guy is a fantastic actor. On Prison Break he was one of the sleaziest scum bags in the prison, yet you almost had a certain sympathy for him because of his back story and the wonderful acting done by Knepper. I was extremely excited when I found out he was going to have a role on Heroes and that's the main reason I decided to watch 3 seasons to get caught up just to see him. Once again, he's one of the most interesting characters in the show. This man oozes talent. He has the right build and his voice sounds like it could come from Nygma. I also believe he'd be a believable genius given the right writing.

That's my pick. It's kind of far fetched and highly unlikely, but it's who I want. What about you guys?

Tom Cruz, he wouldn't even have to act just use footage of him in his every day life, if you want to go the way of an insane Riddler.

Maybe Leonardo Di Caprio? He's no-longer a pretty boy like in Titanic and I think he's a pretty good actor.

Maybe even Neil Flynn but I think he would be the perfect cast for Ash should they ever remake Evil Dead.

Perhaps I'm going with the evil nerd genius side, but I have to go with David Hyde Pierce. He has the look, the voice, and the intelligence; I'm sure that he can pull off the role perfectly if he accepts that it would be the darkest role he has ever had to play.

I think Johnny Depp would make a good Riddler. But a couple of other people who come to mind are Jon Cryer and Christopher Titus. Cryer pulls off the nurotic and crazy Alan really well on Two and a Half Men, and though Titus is a comedian, he has the look and the grin for the part. He can play a psycho real well.

If they ever remade Evil Dead, Ash would be played by Bruce Campbell, and no one else.

For the Riddler, I think Johnny Depp would be great for the role. I also heard David Tennant, who would also be good. (He was an insane SOB in the fourth Harry Potter) Robert Knepper would also be good, though he strikes me more as "creepy bastard" than "Insane genius supervillain."

Ive only owned that movie since it came out and have seen dozens of times. But that is proof enuff for me have Hamill casted. I wanted him as joker in the last batman movie

Johnny Depp has the look, but too many people will just see Johnny Depp instead of Edward Nygma.
