Im wanting to start a collection of Cybertron alt Transformers (for a side comic project using figures.
I know Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee are in the Official range but who else will be?

So what figures from "War For Cybertron" will we see?

(also any figures close to the cybertron alt range? I want Brawl so I can create my own TF of similar build)

Figure range, as in what figures will be in the line.

Yep Sorry this is what I meant.
Ive seen Optimus and Bumble Bee will be out soon which is great ill most likely pick both up but im after Decepticons

(3 infact a Tank, Jet and car that fit the look of the War for Cybertron alts)

Are there any existing figures that meet the look im wanting (I will be modifying parts but need the main bulk to be there)

So far for Jet Darkfire/Dark Skyfire is the only one ive come across and hes a Bit expensive, Cybertron Crumple Zone would make a nice scout so im tempted to go for him.

As of now, we will be getting War For Cybertron Megatron, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Soundwave.

However It's probably not going to stop there. My sources tell me we will also be getting Starscream and Ratchet. From those two molds, that leads to Thundercracker, Skywarp and Ironhide.

...and depending on how popular the game gets, which it already has a heavy fanbase behind it, we'll likely see even more figures.

The Starscream will go nicely as will possibly Soundwave, guess im going to have to keep an eye out for a Cybertron tank that will be close to the one you can have in multiplayer so far ive only seen a Unicron figure that looks close :sad:

Hope your sources are right, I would love WFC Ratchet. I would personally love to see the aerialbots like Airaid and Silverbolt. Oh heck, I pretty much want them all. The designs and vehicle modes are just just so appealing.

Upon looking closer I have the feeling im going to have to buy Brawls movie figure and use a bit of the Animated lines parts and Grimlocks head to get something close if they dont choose to do a Brawl figure. Hmm might have to go all out with this one :BANG_HEAD:

Have you tried any of the Titanium War Within figures?

Grimlock, the Fallen, Prowl and Jetfire have nifty cybertronian alt modes.

Plus, from the Cybertron toyline:

Scouts;
Scrapmetal, Brakedown.

Deluxe;
Override, Blurr, Buzzsaw, Longrack, Sideways, Unicron and...

Demolisher

Voyager;
Vector Prime, Crumplezone, Soundwave (or universe Blaster), Starscream (and universe Dirge).

Ultra;
Menasor, Dark Scorponok.

Leader;
Metroplex.

could certainly see some of the versions of various characters from this line being incorporated into a Generations type line for years to come. Would hope we get some generics out of it too, even if it's in the form of bootlegs. C'mon, who isn't a little psyched for the ability to create your own TF? Having a figure of said character (even if it required painting yourself) would be bloody brilliant!

I'm hoping for a WfC Shockwave. A sneaky way to get a Classicverse Shockwave but it would be so awesome! Oh, and Soundwave to have a streetlight mode!

Am I delirious, or wasn't there a comment in one of the "Ask Hasbro" or at one of the Cons or something where they said there would be 12 figures in the War For Cybertron line? And was that 12 figures, or 12 molds?

Im guessing that would be figures , but we can only hope.

Thanks for the list ill have a look through with such a Large list it should help
(unfortunaly I know Demolisher wont be right due to the way he transforms)

I think im going to by Movie Brawl and The Cybertron Unicron and mod them together to get what im after if nothing surfaces about an official figure. Or someone can point me in the right Direction of the War Within Grimlock as I cant find anything on where hes avalible to buy not even ebay.
