I understand that the original version that came out had a bad color scheme but since purchasing the Premium version with accurate color schemes, i have realized that it is not a bad toy. Compared to the Leader class ROTF Megatron, this is way better imo. What do you guys and gals think?

I actually loathe the Premium Leaders because they switched out the sounds for the G1 transformation sound effects, which is lame for a movie toy. But that's just me. I'm perfectly happy with my 2007 Movie Leaders, both of them. I still want a Nightwatch Prime though

It's alot better than the Voyager mold. I have the Best Buy/Metallic version and it belongs in the washroom 'cause it feels like my toyshelf got pooped on.

I actually love the leader sized megatron TF1 toy from the start. as it's beyond super poseable. has high sculpt in both modes & cool gimmicks.

yeah I returned the first colored version when the premium colored version came out.

The toy sort of looks like the IDW Thunderwing when he transformed into his hyper robot mode in the IDW Comics.

Why the hate? Frankly, it is ugly, boring, underarticulated, the sounds suck, and the alt mode blows due to inaccuracy and the head blatantly unhidden.

Also, compared to the other Leader Class figures from the 07 movie line, it is just inferior. Brawl and Prime are still extremely good transformers. Megatron was not up to the standard.

What bothers me the most is all the kibble he has. In robot mode he has those huge things on his arms, a tail for some reason, and wings lazily folded on his back. In his jet mode his legs are tucked under the wings and it looks horrible. I could understand having some kibble in one mode, but not both.

He was pretty good, except for his idiotic sounds and lame weapons. Other than that, he's okay.

I don't think there has been a movie megatron (Voyager and Leader) without any kibble

he was the weakest of the Leaders but saying that Prime and Brawl were excellent.Im still quite happy with him and he is stll my movie Megatron on my Movie shelf.I didnt get any ROTF Megatron toys.
