Would like some advice from some of the more experienced collectors on here.

I intend to buy Superlink Grand Convoy (prefer the chrome on him).

Once i have him, i'll invest in Wing Saber.

What are the differences (if any) between the superlink and energon versions of Wing Saber?

I've only seen the gallery of superlink Wing Saber on here - any thoughts?

Small differences, mainly pertaining to the paint apps on the hands in both modes from what I remember.

I think the Superlink has a few more paint apps, but I don't think they're the kind that matter.

Its basically just paint apps.

Superlink Wing Saber's Fists have a White paint app over the backside, missing on the Energon Version.

The Wing Convoy Fists have a black paint app over the fingers, with only the back of the fists being translucent red.

Energon Saber has the complete fists as translucent red plastic.

Superlink gets white paint apps on the cannons/ soles of the feat for Saber and the combined mode.

The Face seems to be darker for the Energon version.

If money is no object go for the Japanese version.

If you don't mind the lesser paint apps go for the American.

From what I have seen of both versions, the colors match up quite well with Grand Convoy, more than the do with Energon Optimus.
