How bad is the inflation on Hot Rod going to be? I'm kicking myself pretty damn hard for not the getting the City Commander kit, and I'm not going to miss this one.

Any idea on how much I'll be paying from my nose atm?

I ordered a Henkei Hot Rod from TFSource for $26 in anticipation of the Proctector upgrade and I think that was the normal going-rate anyway...As for the upgrade itself, hard to say...

Wasn't City Comander $70-$80 when it first came out? I imagine Protector will be a bit less since it's a smaller kit...

Ditto-got one the other day from TFSource. BBTS has the back in too, althought I think the price did go up a dollar. I suspect that each time they run out and go get more, there will be a little price bump.

I'm really glad I got an extra Hot Rod when I did...Because I know how the closer it got to the release of City Commander, the harder (and more expensive) it became to get ahold of an Ultra Magnus...And I ended up paying out the ass for him...

Since I know I'll buy the Protector set pretty much no matter what (I've been wanting a Classics-style Rodimus Prime forever now) I saw no reason not to get prepared right away, while Hot Rod is still readily available and relatively inexpensive...And I thought the shiny Henkei Hot Rod would look much more grand and regal as Rodimus Prime (though I actually prefer the Hasbro version as my normal Hot Rod)...

I'm crazy excited for this upgrade and I haven't even properly seen it yet...

BBTS bumped Henkei Hot Rodimus $5 since the Protector announcement. I put one in my pile of loot that night, and it cost $24.99. The price is now $29.99.

Yeah, the same night I news'd that item I went and got a henkei Hot rodimus for 24.99 at BBTS. Then a classics rodimus showed up on vintage for 25, so I got that instead since I already have a henkei one on my shelf.

I'm pissed at myself for not having the forsight to pick Hot Rod-and OP too- when there were stacks of them at Walmart for 5 bucks. I should have bought 2-3!

I paid %85 for my City Commander upgrade. I would expect the same amount for Rodimus' trailer upgrade.

Well however much he ends up being, I'm definately going to nab him at his initial price...I could have done a lot worse with City Commander (ended up paying $110) but I could have done much better too...

They have Hot Rod (or Rodimus) for $29.99 now as well. And listed as a preorder. Odd.
