I don't frequent Walmarts very much, but the one near my house has never had any, as far as I can tell (and I just checked again today for the heck of it). I found mine (for $60) a few weeks ago at a Walmart on the other end of town that had exactly two... If I found one for $20, I'd probably have bought a second one.

I just got back from Wm and I counted 23 Mp Skywarps but when I scanned the bc it said $60... No sale.....

Walmart.com has 20% cashback through bing.com right now. Got this bad boy for $49 plus $0.97 shipping (and whatever tax) and getting $9.80 cashback through bing.com. If you don't know how these things work, look it up on fatwallet.com or one of those sites.

After checking all of the Wal Marts in my general area, I counted only two of them left at one store at the $60 price. I thing that the ones I got for $20 was just my local Wal Mart trying to get rid of them and I'm kind of kicking myself right now for not buying more.

To be honest the Mp Skywarp doesn't even look all that great. The paint and detail looks lame imo.. Looks like a $60 voyager fig .. No way I'd pay $60 for that.. My WM hasa endcap packed with them too..30-35+

When you put the US and Takara ones side by side, yes the paint apps kind of suck. The Takara one is nice and shiny, the US one... not so much. Mine are going to be customized and repainted pretty soon, so the flat black paint isn't really a problem for me.

You friggin' serious? I got mine for the regular price (60-70$) at my Wal-Mart, and your telling me that other Wal-Marts are so awesome that they have it priced around the same price as ROTF leader class figs? What a rip off!

Ebay is probably everyones best bet now. I've seen quite a few that have gone for $35 to $40 shipped.

Do it. Especially if you don't have the Takara version. You'll kick yourself later -it's awesome. If you find it for less than 30, which may be difficult, get it immediately. But it's definitely worth it for 30.

kind of hard to say. I've dealt with 2 MP skywarps so far. The one i opened last year had tight thrust vectors by the tail fins, the latest one i opened -they were looser. Not bad though. The airbrake and the engine covers do seem easier to open though. Doesn't bother me. Let's hope there are no issues with MP Thundercracker when he gets his US release.

The only problems I've run into mine is that he doesn't like to stay attached to his stand in his plane mode. Other than that, he is damn near perfect.

My Wal-Mart has them marked down to $30.00 as well. There's about 7 of them left in stock.

you know what? H pulled a fast one on us. The display model shown at Botcon had the glossy finish to the paint job.
The display model shown at SDCC (below) -I'm not sure - I think it's glossy & not matte finish -at least the one outside of the box.
