Wonder if FansProject would consider a Nexus Prime upgrade set?

Do you love your new Hercules set? Can't get enough of FansProject's items? Upset that you bought a knock off when you thought you were getting an original? Use this forum to tell everyone your thoughts about unlicensed and knock off TF products.

They already have all the necessary parts to make it happen between the two Crossfire sets. They would just need to make them in different colors. They wouldn't even really need to be in all translucents considering the actual figures have quite a few non-translucent parts. I already have two of each of the upcoming Crossfire figures ordered, so I'll already have extra parts to do the tank and helicopter. If the original Crossfire set for Superion didn't cost so much now I would just buy another one of those for the remaining parts I would need and paint them myself. It would be awesome if they released a set just for Nexus Prime though. Probably just wishful thinking.

If they got around to it after a Devastator set, sure. Otherwise? RAGE!

Just seems like a good way for them to get a little more use out the molds they've already got on hand. The work is already done, except for the packaging. Didn't FanProject say at some convention they didn't have any plans for a Devastator set since there was already another 3rd party, CrazyDevy I'm assuming, doing Devastator stuff?

The only issues I see with Fansproject doing a set for Nexus stem from:

a) the limited number of Nexus Primes out there.
b) part of the appeal of FP's sets is their usage as pieces for the separate units. For a nexus set, you would need extra pieces for the alt-modes that would have no place on the completed form and vice-versa.
and possibly
c) Will the mod done for FP Bruticus still allow Breakaway to attach properly to Heatwave, seeing the kit is designed for Vortex?

Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

I thought about these issues after I posted as well.

a) could be released as an online store exclusive like they did with the the "Snowman" Crossfire set.

b) no way around this one really. They would just have to deal with not all the parts being integrated into the alt modes.

c) won't know till we get the latest sets, but it looks like it could work.

I know it probably won't happen. I'll probably will just buy another Superion Crossfire set and do it myself.
