My latest additions to titanium put me over the 1400 mark. This doesn't include a lot of doubles, Star War TFs, and any non-Takara/Hasbro made TF items (revoltechs don't count to me, I also don't count headmasters as 2 figures). I don't count Diaclones, but I wonder if they do count?
Funny thing is that my buying is slowing down because the figures I want rarely come on e-bay. There are some Pretenders I haven't seen on e-bay for months.

hmm thats a little tougher...multiforce i would say no, just because i think in order for it to cound the combiner pieces would have to have both alt and robot mode, and am i correct in that multiforce's dont?
I'm not familiar with diaattacker so i cant really give an opinion on that one.

also is it US or Japanese that you mainly collect?

I open pretty much everything except if it is super rare or a duplicate. The only place I don't have a lof of figures is G2 and Beast Wars. Here is a sample of some figures I have:

Dude congrats...very nice collection how long have you been at it? And why no love for Beast wars their were some excellent toys in that line. If you decide to pick some up I suggest ones from japan. Easily removed from box similar to collectors series no damn twisties to F w/. TX out.
