Worst MISB paint job
This is probably far from the worst but I was just curious to see what else was out there that Hasbro managed to pass off as acceptable. When I bought this one I simply had bumblebee eyes. I just wanted one. Now that I look back it slightly irritates me. Once in awhile I'll hear of someone passing on one due to paint or looking through many of the same to find the best one. Good idea!! I guess this gives true meaning to battle damaged??

my figures from Hasbro do not look that bad. The only figure that could use some help with paint is one from Takara.

Swindle and BB have been the worst of the movie line by far.
I had to look through DOZENS of them both before I finally found ones up to my standards.
You should think about returning it for store credit and grabbing one with better apps.

I've seen some bad Barricades too. I had to looks at about 10 of them to find a good one. Rescue Ratchet ain't great either.
My most disappointing was Pepsi Prime, shipped straight from Hasbro. It looks good over all but the white stripe down the cab on the side showing in box is not well defined and not completely filled in-too much red showing through. I was really pissed at them for letting this slide on a limited release figure.

I had a tough time with Classics Ultra Magnus and Skywarp. It seemed every package of them had something wrong with their faces ... except for the one way, way, way in the back that I ended up purchasing. I couldn't believe how different the paint apps were.

Actually I've seen quite a bit of Bumblebees in that condition MISB on shelves.. it's a disgrace.. but I have found that the Target Battle Pack Evolution of a Hero is really spectacular and very well painted.. if you have the time and the money track it down at their stores, or order online..oh and remember that Target likes to set alot of their exclusives back in storage until Black Friday as they did last time with the Starwars Episode 3 toys..
oh and seibs...
Gotta Love that pimpin Pic!!

Get that AFA'ed and they would give it a 60! Horrible quality control in the plant in China. I long for the days back in G1 Series I when everything was made in JAPAN and they all looked great.
BWOP: "Die-cast construction...It's a lost art!"
Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

I had the same problem, but only 3 packs to choose from, still quite happy with my final pick.
08 Bumblebee was by far the worst single figure I have ever had to deal with, my first figure was not so bad, but my second one is not so great, and I had 13 different ones to choose from

Barricade and Swindle have not had the best paint apps either.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

regular Barricade. I've seen plenty scuffed up, and have faded logos on his side. And the scout repaints for the movie...rush job for sure.

That is a pretty ad paint job.
But what do you expect from drunk children working in Chinese sweat shops making toys.

G1 would be great if die-cast wasnt used.... The paint/chrome comes off easily..heroic_decepticon wrote:Zeds wrote:I long for the days back in G1 Series I when everything was made in JAPAN and they all looked great.
