Did you happen to flip the small, triangular panels here?:

Flipping those up allows more room for the 'backpack', letting those slots near the doors snap onto the tabs on the back.

Thanks so much! I knew those had to do something.
Please note: If you think I may be joking, I probably am.

I have to agree that a Voyager class would've solved a lot of issues with Galvatron. Although, strangely enough, I quite enjoyed the figure. He just needed to be a respectable size.

I quite agree. I'm not as harsh on him as some are - I think the overall design came off very well - but clearly the final result left much to be desired.

As it stands i'm REALLY disappointed in WFC BB.
He doesn't tab together properly in alt mode so there's big ass gaps in between all the panels.Or they just don't want to fit together flush like the roof/windsheild part.
Random pieces are falling off. Not limbs or appendages but random bits that i have to figure out where the hell it came from.
His hands are on that awkward angle too which really urks the **** outta me.
I dont' even want to open my WFC Prime because this figure has left such a bad taste in my mouth that i reckon i'm gonna give Prime to my buddies kid and not bother opening it and get totally bummed again.
In fact........WFC BB is the most disappointing figure i've ever bought now that i'm talking about him.
****.....i;m gonna smash it to pieces right now actually.....

oh......and another one is the BBTS exclusive commemorative Piranacon.
So poopy was the quality of that KO piece of garbage that it's made me now start buying the vintage Seacon figures off ebay so that i don't have to have the constant reminder of that abomination to look at on my shelf.
I'd like to go into detail about the problems with my Piranacon but i don't want to type for that long right now.

Some aspects of the recent Piranhacon set are indeed really cr@ppy. It could have been worst though if they colored Snaptraps' head black, the the set would have more palatable.

You probably have his head in the wrong place. Make sure to turn it around backwards when transforming him; then, once it's flipped over, push it all the way forward toward to the front of the vehicle.

Once you've done that, make sure you completely tab his forearms into his upper arms.
Random pieces are falling off. Not limbs or appendages but random bits that i have to figure out where the hell it came from.

I haven't had that problem.

WFC Prime has a very cool and well executed transformation. The only problem with him is that his alt mode is kind of boring. (Well, and it would be cooler if he were Voyager class.) I don't the WFC BB is such a bad figure; but WFC Prime is definitely the better of the two.

I cant compare seeing as I do not own WFC BB but I personally think WFC Optimus is not a very good figure. His robot mode is alright but doesnt do it for me. His vehicle mode, just looks like,.... crap to me. I guess given his style it's a matter of personal taste, but can not stand him personally.

WWI Megatron.........ugly in a sense that:

A. He lost the high density energon sword (check his back for the clip holder. DonFig said so himself

B. He should have been an H tank and not plain and simple twist torso and clip together limbs.

WWI Optimus was a great mold too but the die-cast and painting was implemented shabbily.

Beastwars II Galvatron.....d@mn hard to transform.

I only bought him to add to the Op/Meg shelf and I knew he was utterly awful before I bought him. I think he's better than Armada Prime as I don't like electronic gimmicks.

I think the worst mold must be either on of the Star Wars deluxes or the rerelease of Clocker as I took them both back ASAP. The SW X-over could barely stand and had most of his alt mode on his back, Clocker looked bad and felt dreadfully cheap.

R.I.D. Megatron/Galvatron. Flashy, but very unstable feet, top-heavy, and at least 7 unnecessary modes out of the possible 10. I own one for the simple reason that I need it opposite my Fire Convoy, which is all kinds of awesomesauce, to complete my collection.

Yeah, I was wondering about the quality on that set. To be honest, I never understood the hype over him; he looked like a bunch of happy meal toys inside nice packaging. Then again, I never even knew who he was until I looked him up on Wikipedia.

Aesthetics aside, I think WFC Prime is another figure that can be filed under the "better-suited for Voyager Class" category. I personally don't mind the look of the figure, but I think it would have been improved had it been a Voyager. A very fiddly piece with a lot of smallish parts to move around. My least favorite WFC mold.

Really? I just got that Optimus and really like it. I find the vehicle mode to be the right mix of alien and resembling a cab. And I appreciate the lack of doors and windows since it would never have a driver.

But, mine did have a leg that moved too easily, and a foot attached at the wrong angle. So it doesn't work well in robot mode. I plan to get a second for that. Plus it is easy to pop off the exhaust ports when transforming, although just as easy to pop them back on. So technically it's also the worst mold I own.

I don't own those, but I know that Optimus Prime gets a ton of flak amongst the fandom. Personally, I think the design they were going for would've been great had attention been given to the mold; it just looks half-assed. Megatron, however, I've heard and seen very little of but I'm willing to assume he's the better mold of the two.

Attention to detail would have helped Optimus a lot. His robot mode is actually a pretty great homage to his G1 self, if not for the gimmick hindrance. Even when you have it "locked" it never feels solid. Posed next to other Deluxe OPM though he fits right in. Vehicle mode is his VERY weak point. If his legs would have slid or collapsed in some way would have gone a long way towards a great figure. He just looks like someone stuck something resembling the cab of a semi on 40 feet of legs and took a bong break.

I agree about vehicle mode, but I love him in robot mode. I don't have any issues with him not feeling solid when the gimmick is locked, either. But it really is a dumb gimmick and they really would've been better served giving him a solid chest and instead giving him legs that collapse in for truck mode. That's where mine feels less than solid, in truck mode, if it's just sitting there, it's fine, but pick it up and the "legs" section kinda flops down.

I think it's a pretty good mould. The vehicle mode isn't perfect, but aside from the many panel lines and the badly matching windows, it's pretty good, and I like the robot mode as well aside from the down-facing head and the not terribly good gun (I still don't have Ratchet, however). The mould that immediately comes to mind would be Cybertron Runamuck, and, by extension, Armada Sideswipe, whom I don't have. The vehicle mode is realistic, but isn't a particularly interesting or cool car, and the robot mode is awful, between the lack of knees, and bad arms, the just not looking very good. I also don't really like the Classics Deluxe Prime mould from the two-pack, but at least the robot mode isn't bad.
