Would The Real Megatron Please Stand Up?

Postby devzilla » Sun Nov 04, 2007 10:49 am

I've been having a strange fanboy idea and wanted to know what everyone else thought.

First off, I didn't like Megatrong's voice in the recent TF movie. I miss the original voice.

Then I thought, why not rip, copy and remix Meg's voice from the G1 series and movie to recreate his line in the 2007 movie?

Has anyone else thought of doing this?

Anyone or group who completes a full movie mp3 with the classic Meg's voice, share it with everyone else and those of us with say, Final Cut Pro, could fix the movie and put it back to the way it should have been all along.

Thoughts?

Megatron had his G1 voice in the video game. It sounded completely WRONG for his new incarnation. Conversely, his new voice sounds perfect to me. Deep, menacing, and, most of all, big. Someone as big and mean as he is should have a voice to match... and Hugo Weaving fits the bill!

He was great in LotR as well. His Megatron voice seems to be a combination of the regal and slightly dark Elf, the evil and sinister Agent Smith and the calculating, mysterious and judgemental V. Just listen to his "Is it fear or courage that compels you, fleshling?"

Was i seeing things, or was movie Megs just HUGE compared to Jazz?

He stomped Jazz with (i think) his FEET on top of that building and then prompty ripped him in two with his "bare" hands..

was I the only one bug-eyed at the size difference there?
