wave 1: classics 2.0
wave 2: war within
and so on and so on untill they get tired of makeing them.
That way they could skip they redcos from other lines and just do ones from each of these lines.

However I do not know if Hasbro can use the same casts for metal and plastic pieces, making new casts would be rather expensive for figures that have already been released.
Making brand new WWi themed figures from scratch would probably go down very well as well/

If they don't flood the universe line with goofy repaints and re-releases I think Universe would do very well.

They just need to do every character featured in the story and then some.

Because if they did like I suggested:
wave 1: classics 2.0
wave 2: war within
starting from scratch with the war within toys they would have massvie success on there hands. There would have time to produce the new mold and do redcos of mold that work without having to go with the filler figures from older lines. The other thing I didn't say is also that they would sell enuff of these figure to more than make up for the cost of creating the new molds. Because I'm sure the people who do custom paint jobs on figures would snap up two or three of certain molds just so they could do custom figures out of them

'Course, the reason they do the repaints is nothing to do with giving them breathing space to make new moulds. It's because they've spent a lot of money making the moulds they've just got and they mean to get all the mileage out of them they can. No way they'll stop the repaints, it's too efficient a way to recoup their costs.

Pretty sure that there are ways around doing the same toys in plastic and die-cast. Consider the G1 Predacons and the whole Alt vs BT thing. No idea if this uses the same tech to turn out the figures or not, but there's certainly precedent.
