As most are aware here TW is releasing a GM and FM in the 9.1 inch robot height Leader toy scale.

Would you like TW to also release other city bots in this 9.1 scale like Scorponok, Trypticon and Metroplex?

I'd rather they did NOT do this. It feels like they might try Scorponok to go with their new Fort Max, and likely did Fort Max to go with their Headmaster line. But I don't like the idea of citybots being so small when they aren't supposed to be. I'd rather get Perfect Effect's Warden at this rate (and because I'm rather late on picking him up).

Besides, there's no fiction or other reason to supplement smaller Metroplex and Trypticon figures.

Not really. My perfect representation right now would be:

Fort Max - Perfect Effect's take on the character
Grand Max - ToyWorld's will do fine for now, but eventually I'd like something bigger
Scorponok - I'm hoping PE knocks it out of the park
Black Zarak - I'd love MakeToys to release in this colour, though I doubt they would.

Trypticon NEEDS to be able to square off with Metroplex on my shelves, so I can't settle for anything smaller than Titan Class for him, though it may be unlikely.

I already have PE'd Fort Max, so I'll just get their Scorpinok too. No sense in squaring off my non-G1 Max against a G1 Scorpy.

I'll echo the sentiments about small citybots. No point. And I'd rather have a Titan Class Trypitcon to go with Metroplex. I really hope Hasbro comes through on that because I just can't see a 3rd party making that affordable.

And I echo the sentiment about MT doing a Black Zarak. That'd look boss.

Wouldn't mind it if TW did 9.1 inch robot toys for Scorponok, Trypticon and Metroplex.

1986 Metroplex's robot mode, Had it and Remember it having a 9 to 11 inches tall Leader scale robot mode. this TW Metroplex would pay homage to the original toy scale.

Also hoping PE Scorponok's toy is leader scale and awesome.

im surprised by the reactions here, based on those showing interest in the TW grant thread and how quickly the preorders sold out at TFsource.

to the question at hand: i dont know. i can easily see myself getting all three max's. expanding beyond that is doubtful. though i never thought id buy three 3P mini max's in the first place, so who knows. i do like dinosaurs

Smaller Fort Max and Scorponok are fine with me because I read the Marvel comics growing up and we got more characterization in those than the season 4 Headmasters episodes but Metroplex and Trypticon are only ever shown as cities. Scorponok can be Grimock sized but Trypticon has to be Godzilla scale. HAS TO.

Really, Trypticon needs to be able to square off against Metroplex. I already have Dark Scorponok (who I suppose is more like Black Zarak) but an XBAWKS HUEG Scorponok who did the Headmaster thing with a Headmaster that was essentially Scorponok but "normal sized" would be awesome. Not sure how that would work with the whole Legends thing, unless either Scorponok did the Fortress Maximus Double Headmaster thing or if the mini-Scorponok was actually Cyberverse Commander scale and most of the bulk of the Mega Scorponok head was a helmet that transformed into a vehicle of some description.

That said, the 9 inch citybot idea is cool and I'd love them as standalone figures, just not "instead of" the real deal.

absolutely. this thing (and subsequent repaints) are meant to me anyways, as novelties. if hastak wants to make a fort max the size of my couch, im down for that too

Bigger is better in regards to the city bots. I don't want them small. I absolutely love Titan class and want to see more of it.

I'd like to see Scorp in supreme class and Trypticon in Titan.

As much as i love my PE Warden i'd also love to see a Titan FM (from anybody) release soon. SO at least i can use Warden for his head. That needs to happen.
