ah. I have 4 classics primes myself so am thinking of maybe getting a few different powermaster primes.

Why do I get the feeling they're just trying to rush something cheaper out to the market as quickly as possible?

If I were remotely interested in this, I'd go for the XOvergen version. It seems to be undergoing a lot of development work to get it right.

there is that to consider. I do hope your wrong and that this will turn out to be a well executed and quality product.

I'm not interested in either of them. I don't want Optimus Kong or Ginraizilla. I want one that uses Classics Op and is in scale with Classics. That's the only reason I was interested in the epically failed Vector Zeta. The cab don't have to just sit in the chest of a monstrously oversized thing! Give me something that fits like City Commander and I'll buy it!

Hopefully this one turns out well and follows this concept art. I wasn't impressed with the Xovergen one at all.

I flat-out don't like the design of Xovergen's Powermaster trailer. This one I do quite a bit but I haven't seen anything from X-Transbot that's made me think they do quality pieces.

but the whole thing with Powermaster Prime was that he was a big giant version of Optimus Prime. There was the normal sized robot, but Super Mode was always big. Well, okay, except maybe in the comics.

Not a fan of a the Powermaster Prime thing myself, despite liking the G1 toy. Always used him just as the small bot and battle station, really.

I'm not too sure this'll materialize anyway. Don't they only do KOs?

I read the comics when they were coming out and Powermaster was the only Optimus I owned as a kid but I put him against Galvatron so to me it was always that Galvatron, Ultra Magnus and Powermaster Optimus were the same size. The base mode would still be human sized not bot sized so it'd be like the size of a convenience store. All in all, the issue remains the same: these are too damn big! Even if it was just an Ultra I'd consider it but companies just don't seem interested in my money! Or if they made this style suit for the crappy Deluxe 2 pack Optimus. You know, the one that needs improvement!

Same here. The more I saw of it, the less I wanted it. I really hope they pull this off. I'd love to have a Classics PMOP. Now if they can pull off a Hi-Q to go with it...

It's not armor. It's not even a parts-former. It's a glorified statue that holds a cab in it's chest. I just cant get with that concept, even if it is G1 accurate. Sombody needs to come up with something a little cooler or I say no to Powermaster Prime.

You know, this is entirely possible depending on which version of the characters you use. Pretty sure Xovren's or this would be of a size with Energon Galvatron and RID Ultra Magnus. Plus, there's the inevetable new MP Prime repaint. I'm willing to bet it'll come with a proper trailer.

I like that line of thinking but I'm focusing on Classics right now. If I'm going to line jump around to round out a series, it's going to be Classics, not Masterpiece!

Once you toss 3rd party guys I don't think it's too bad to mix Energon or RID ... but however you like it.

So, not only the trailer but Apex armor too. Looking good. I hope the product lives up to the promise the art is putting out there. Where is Galvatron, sorry, Tyrant?

I'm still interested in the Powermaster portion. Pull that off and I'd probably be down for the Apex armor as well. I am hopeful that they aren't sacrificing the previous project (PMOP) for this.

The head looks totally different from the previous pic; I don't know how that could become this.

It's an impressive picture, but so far that's all it is. I don't regret preordering Xovregn.
