These new pics really don't help us determine the size or scale. Is the figure bigger than I thought or does that guy just have big hands ? I really want it to be the same scale as the Igear mini warriors.

I happened to have Cybertron Clocker next to me. Based on how he fits in my hand very similar to the prototype images, I'm guessing somewhere around scout sized. Maybe slightly bigger. I'm thinking this would scale nicely with Classics. But some comparison pics would definitely be nice!

Looking good. I always wondered why they dont "test" the mold in its proper collors ? Finally gonna have a real classics wheelie instead of an orange jazz or a micky ds legends toy.

They run test shots in whatever plastic is currently loaded in the mold machines. It's quite a process purging injectors for new plastic types and colors. When I was doing QA for plastic parts a number of years ago, I worked pretty closely with one of our vendors. Test shots are used to see tolerances and to set other options like plastics temperature during mold runs. They will usually run a test shot between other longer production runs.

So, let's say that the molding vendor is currently running dark grey plastic for gears in a printer, and that the plastic is very close to what will be used in Ollie. Then the vendor needs to switch molds to a different sized gear. After they pull the previous gear mold, and likely while they are cleaning it and prepping it for storage, they can insert the Ollie mold and run a few pieces. Then they'll pull the Ollie mold and start on the new gear mold. To also purge the plastic from the system, especially if it has to be done twice as the new gears are probably not gold/orange, can add hours to the process, and create a lot of scrap parts in the production gears. Just as an example.

Intresting...so basically it is just more efficient to run the machine in whatever color they are using at the time....

If Wheelie had been zapped by Dr Who and increased in size to the height/scale of Jazz*, then I would consider buying this figure to sit with a Classics Deluxe display... but.. no.

Eh, never really liked Wheelie. Don't know if he's better in season 3, but he was infuriating in the movie. The design looks cool though, and headcanon is a powerful thing.

This does look a good toy though.

As for the scale, bringing back up the case of Huffer, if Huffer was in proper scale he'd be as big as Optimus Prime (maybe a tad smaller if he turned into a more compact truck). Cartoon scale is laughable and is no way to determine the size of modern toys. That's one thing I don't like about the Masterpiece line- their dogmatic adherence to cartoon scale results in an F15 Eagle smaller than a flat-nose lorry (just compare the MP Prime Spike figure to the MP Starscream pilot/Dr Arkeville figure...). On the plus side, MP Starscream is roughly in scale with deluxe cars.
