Mmmm-kay... Anything besides leg wraps? (Though now I want to do a stop motion of Flashdance using CW Megs and these parts, perhaps in a black with neon colored stripes scheme...)

So... what, leg fillers and shoulder thingies?

Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Not seeing any replacement wrist with articulated fingers.

I see a back cannon in Tsut's most recent pic. Also, besides the front of the shoulders, it looks like a replication of the gun hammer spikes on the shoulder are present.
But, yeah, I otherwise echo your sentiment. I am not very excited about this. I have been able to fashion a makeshift gun mode out of Leader Megs, but it's pretty crap...

I wonder if the shoulder thingies help hide the red dealies.

Please post a pic, love to see this gun mode for CW Leader Megatron.
Here is a gun mode pic I found on the internet for Energon Megatron's toy.

This was the best I could do to not make it looks like a half of a tank with mis-transformed legs hanging off the back...

Re: X2Toys - CW Megatron Upgrade
I like the mold as-is without any upgrades well enough. I don't think any of these upgrades are worthwhile. All they do is make him a bit more cartoon accurate which would be more fitting for an MP-scaled toy, which I hope Has/Tak are planning on creating soon. Do any of these upgrades actually integrate into his alt mode at all, or do they just end up as a pile of spare parts to keep track of whenever he's displayed in his tank mode?

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

Is the fig worth buying i only ask because it seem to get a mixed bag the worst case being one guy on fb took a picture of of megs snapped to pieces in in a bin .

Thanks, guys!
In hand, this gun mode feels very awkward, and looks more like a Klingon disruptor than anything I can think of.
I don't like the figure as Megatron. I love the figure as a transforming tank. I may end up selling my Megs one day, but will likely be using my Armada megs for Trannis (Mkall's idea, actually). I haven't had any issues, and he is genuinely fun to fiddle with and transform. It's just not my idea of good aesthetics for Megatron. Classics Voyager will continue to hold that spot for me.

Like the DX9 Upgrades better to CW Megatron. As it gives the toy replacement hands it articulated fingers abd height boots.
Don't like the X2T add ons as they looks cheap and ugly.

The DX9 kit actually looks like it belongs with the figure. It matches the overall aesthetic or "Hasthetic" as I like to call it.
This X2 kit basically turns CW Megatron into the poor mans Apollyon.

Agamemnon, that's actually not too bad a gun mode.
I think I'll try that.
Anyway, not feeling this at all. Still gonna keep my pre-order for the DX9 kit.

Don't like the X2 add on feet. Think they look worse, weak and cheap. Compared to the original feet and the DX9 add on feet.

Holycrap in a hand basket can this set be pushed back any more?
Its clear the majority can care less for this but I for one see potential. I may have to call it quits though if it gets delayed one more month.
