It's awesome how the picture shows nothing of the set.

I believe that the left shoulder joint is the upgrade and the right is the original. The pic is showing the increased movement.

No it's not, you can do that with normal Magnus. And the guy on FB even confirms that the pic is just a "stock" pic of Magnus, because all that exists of this set until now is that these guys are planing on making it.

This is worse than silhouettes, because you actually need more than just an intention to create something in the future to make those. This here is pointless, why even post a pic, if it doesn't show anything of what you're trying to sell?

So you think that "Oh we want to make new joints and a pointless gun for this, but we have nothing to show you other than a photo of what the figure looks like without our stuff on" is the same as "Oh look, we want to make a new toyline that homages Transformers, He-Man etc, with interchangable parts and accessories, so here is concept art of what the first 20 figures, acessories and expansion packs will look like, and here's a hard-copy prototype that shows you what the first base figure will be like in the flesh" are the same thing?
This set here, doesn't even have a quick pencil sketch, while the only thing that's missing from Play with this Too is the finished product because production hasn't started yet.
These guys here have absolutely nothing to show for themselves, but they already want to sell it to you.

whats wrong with UM Shoulder joints ? the figures fine the way it is imo.

The last thing i want to do with my MP figures is start taking them apart and replacing joints , i dont even want to put reprolables on them.

It says diecast shoulder joints and a longer gun. Do you really need to see a drawing of the original joints photoshopped in chrome ? Maybe they can photoshop them in red chrome too for the inevitable D.I.A. Commander repaint. They said the gun would be longer. Unless they said it will look different, we can safely assume its an upsized or extended KO of the original gun. No need to put out a bunch of drawings in my honest opinion. This projects outcome is pretty self explanatory. Unlike a certain few black and white teaser drawings which had people stumped for a couple weeks. Ill give you another example where a drawing was never shown and not needed...Belzeboss Slingshot. Many people including myself embraced that silhouette because we knew what to expect and roughly what other figures the engineering and aesthetics would be based on. If it wasnt for the TRU computer listings and takaras announcement, Belzeboss could have sold preorders on a silhouette alone if the price was fair. But in other cases weeks of endless drawings and people still had no clue what to expect in plastic form. So in essence what im trying to say is that a picture isnt always worth 1000 words. Sometimes a picture isnt needed. Sometimes we get plenty of pictures and there all worthless. It varies depending on the project.

Last year when they made those KO or 3rd party metal replacements knee joints for MP-09. Some deemed it a bad idea, As the metal joints would easily chip away at the plastic tabs that the joints use to move around inside the toy.

Like the replacement longer gun idea. but feel it is not important needed.

Feel this here is more important needed. Think this MP-22 toy needs a replacement waist belt piece. That is more trimmed down near the bottom. where the thighs and hip joints can walk forward on a 90 degree bending angle. As it stands right now the current waist belt piece is too big near the bottom and only allows the thighs hips to walk forward barely on a 40 degree bending angle. For a MP TF toy to have limited range of walking is completely unacceptable.

I want to see something. If they're selling new joints, they should show them. And why would we need a longer gun anyway? Is there a reason to want or buy it? The current gun is perfect, so if you intend to sell a new gun, it better be amazing, and you better show me what it looks like, or give me an idea of how it stacks up against the one I already have.
All I would need is a photo of Magnus, with drawings of the products overlayed to give me a rough idea, but instead they only give us a stock photo of Ultra Magnus. We all know what he looks like, show us the stuff you want to sell.
Belzeboss did show off a drawing when they announced it, plus the difference is this; this company is actually selling pre-orders for something that as far as we know doesn't even exist, while the stuff you list are announcements by the companies in question of products they intend to one day sell.

I'm with Dead Metal. Companies need to show rather than tell.

But to be fair to X2, they didn't announce anything officially or solicit a product listing. This information is coming indirectly from Chosen Prime's FB page, possibly as a result of an informal conversation.

Last year, A decent number of fans agreed that the Metal replacement joints for MP-09 was a bad idea. As some said the metal joints would eat away at the inside plastic tabs that the joints use.

Remember the guy who made those metal replacements joints parts for MP-09. later created all plastic replacements joints parts.

Depending on the the complexity inside the toy. It can be a nighmare to get all those gears, pressure springs, tabs and whatever else correctly lined up properly when taking apart TF toys.

Don't think their is anything wrong with the HasTak MP-22 gun or joints. Think the gun is sculpted correctly and the proper length. my toy has tight and strong joints.

Need to see pics before I place any online preorders.

Not going to spend money on replacements parts or add ons that are not important needed.

Currently identified as "Hot Air", it's intended as a replacement for Alpha Bravo in the Combiner Wars Aerialbots group coming in the early part of 2015's Transformers line. It will probably be a while before a meaningful prototype exists - at least until Hasbro's toys are in hand for the connection port to be cloned. Keep reading to check out the early images.

I feel the same way, but there are a lot of complaints on those shoulders for some reason so there's probably a market.

Longer gun though? I don't see the point. Maybe if it's white.

To sweeten the deal though, X2 should add a silver chrome front bumper replacement for everyone who hates on the toon accurate red one.
