Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I believe that the left shoulder joint is the upgrade and the right is the original. The pic is showing the increased movement.

No it's not, you can do that with normal Magnus. And the guy on FB even confirms that the pic is just a "stock" pic of Magnus, because all that exists of this set until now is that these guys are planing on making it.
This is worse than silhouettes, because you actually need more than just an intention to create something in the future to make those. This here is pointless, why even post a pic, if it doesn't show anything of what you're trying to sell?

Just like certain parts of another project on these boards.![]()
If raw concepts and ideas can be embraced elsewhere, why not here ? Just saying...

So you think that "Oh we want to make new joints and a pointless gun for this, but we have nothing to show you other than a photo of what the figure looks like without our stuff on" is the same as "Oh look, we want to make a new toyline that homages Transformers, He-Man etc, with interchangable parts and accessories, so here is concept art of what the first 20 figures, acessories and expansion packs will look like, and here's a hard-copy prototype that shows you what the first base figure will be like in the flesh" are the same thing?
This set here, doesn't even have a quick pencil sketch, while the only thing that's missing from Play with this Too is the finished product because production hasn't started yet.
These guys here have absolutely nothing to show for themselves, but they already want to sell it to you.

It says diecast shoulder joints and a longer gun. Do you really need to see a drawing of the original joints photoshopped in chrome ? Maybe they can photoshop them in red chrome too for the inevitable D.I.A. Commander repaint. They said the gun would be longer. Unless they said it will look different, we can safely assume its an upsized or extended KO of the original gun. No need to put out a bunch of drawings in my honest opinion. This projects outcome is pretty self explanatory. Unlike a certain few black and white teaser drawings which had people stumped for a couple weeks. Ill give you another example where a drawing was never shown and not needed...Belzeboss Slingshot. Many people including myself embraced that silhouette because we knew what to expect and roughly what other figures the engineering and aesthetics would be based on. If it wasnt for the TRU computer listings and takaras announcement, Belzeboss could have sold preorders on a silhouette alone if the price was fair. But in other cases weeks of endless drawings and people still had no clue what to expect in plastic form. So in essence what im trying to say is that a picture isnt always worth 1000 words. Sometimes a picture isnt needed. Sometimes we get plenty of pictures and there all worthless. It varies depending on the project.

Currently identified as "Hot Air", it's intended as a replacement for Alpha Bravo in the Combiner Wars Aerialbots group coming in the early part of 2015's Transformers line. It will probably be a while before a meaningful prototype exists - at least until Hasbro's toys are in hand for the connection port to be cloned. Keep reading to check out the early images.
I feel the same way, but there are a lot of complaints on those shoulders for some reason so there's probably a market.Autobot Genocide wrote:whats wrong with UM Shoulder joints ? the figures fine the way it is imo.

Last year, A decent number of fans agreed that the Metal replacement joints for MP-09 was a bad idea. As some said the metal joints would eat away at the inside plastic tabs that the joints use.
Remember the guy who made those metal replacements joints parts for MP-09. later created all plastic replacements joints parts.Autobot Genocide wrote:The last thing i want to do with my MP figures is start taking them apart and replacing joints , i dont even want to put reprolables on them.
Depending on the the complexity inside the toy. It can be a nighmare to get all those gears, pressure springs, tabs and whatever else correctly lined up properly when taking apart TF toys.
