Ah, time to go relax next to the Sea of Rust and bring along my trusty camper. I wonder if Ariel will come along. Maybe she'll bring that tail thing and we can have some Disney cosplay.....

Really? Does Orion Pax need a trailer? The new head (especially if it is cartoon accurate) I would be interested in. I'm just boggled by the concept of a trailer for Pax... #-o

haha, it does look like a camper, plus it seems to come with a jetskie. :lol:

Well, the reasoning is, it's an Optimus Prime and people always want a trailer for their Optimus, so this one must have one too.

I want a new head that looks like this but I don't give a crap about the trailer. If the head is any good somebody else will probably make one without the cost of a trailer.

I've read most of the spotlights that have come out, but for some reason I'm blanking on this one. Since my Pax is on the way, I'll have that opportunity very soon.

Still, I guess I should blame IDW then, rather than ZX2. I don't think Orion Pax should have a trailer. He's just a librarian, right? Right? What did he get retconned into now? Oh, right. Read the comic.

When did this happen? Is this something that's brought up in more recent issues? Since I only collect the MTMTE and RID in trade form so I might not have seen it yet.

In the comic Orion Pax Spotlight issue Orion Pax is sent into the Sea of Rust to deliver a Hostage to the Decepticons in exchange for an Autobot hostage they have. Alpha Trion accompanies Pax as a navigator and Nightbeat as a negotiator. On the way to the drop Nightbeat expresses concern that they are Transporting nothing as they are not allowed to open the locked trailer being towed by Pax Calling this Omega's Conundrum (How can they know a hostage is inside if they can't open the trailer?). This to me suggests that the trailer is not part of Pax' alt mode as he would know the contents if it was.

This toy is an accessory to help recreate a scene from the comic this Orion Pax figure is packaged with, not just to simply give Orion Pax a trailer because technically he is Optimus Prime and Optimus Prime had a trailer so Orion Pax should have a trailer too!

I also suspect the object shown bottom left is a seperate release from X2 Toys and that it is M.A.R.B. seen in MTMTE #4 (maybe)[Icould be way off]

Interesting... Schrödinger's Hostage, eh? The trailer seems to be drawn with a paint scheme very G1 trailerish. Still, unless this is like $15, I'll probably not be interested.

Have I told you? The X2toys upgrade for Orion Pax will not be just the trailer, but it basically puts him in stages... Orion Pax, + mid armor Young Optimus Prime, and then Optimus prime...

I just officially lost all interest in this. The new head was a major bummer. Getting rid of one "Prime with a mouth" head only to replace it with another. I was really hoping for a G1 cartoon accurate head. Also, Orion does not need an Airstream.
