I don't think Dai Atlas is supposed to have that ab crunch in robot mode, rather that may mean the waist isn't compressed all the way. The looseness stems from the connector which is really loose. Could anyone weigh in on that?

Likely another Selects figure, since Legends is over as of Big Powered.

I was more referring to the location of the joint rather than it being a legit ab crunch. He basically does a crunch when he transforms, it's just a bit more extreme than a usual crunch.
The connector itself is really loose which is why the 2 halves are a bit unstable compared to each other. It needed tightened up

So, I just got Godbomber today. I realize I'm rather late to that party.
I wonder how many Godbombers had loose insulation covers (and bits loose in package) because of the gauntlets not being transformed correctly when the trailer was packed? Mine did!

Went for the god bomber with convoy set but from the few god bombers I've seen boxed I wondered why it looked like it was missing something, so that could be why.

Same with mine.
Even though it is generally not loved by the fandom, I really enjoy my God Ginrai. It looks spectacular. And now he can stand with Team Big Powered and Greatshot, and hopefully soon some more Autobots from the time

Well, my Godbomber was packaged with the gauntlets folded the way they're supposed to be for the God Ginrai combo, which kept the insulation tray from closing right and kept them from holding to Godbomber's upper arms securely. So it arrived with one gauntlet detached and the sword blade partly out of its notch in the tray:

I enjoy my God Ginrai/Apex Armor Optimus as well:

I do want to mod the wings, but I'm overall happy.

I think I was fairly lucky. I scored "Magnus Prime" from the Siege on Cybertron set for $33 plus $7 shipping, and Godbomber for $80.95 shipped.

You can do a lot with it, I just don't. I rarely play with my figures anymore, just display 'em.

That third shot is the one I planned first. The others were more afterthought.

Those are Selects figures, like Star Convoy (and maybe Armada Convoy? We still haven't gotten an official announcement on that one yet).

I'm just a tiiiiny bit worried Hasbro gets all money-grubbing and decide not to allow those to be completed. Granted, Selects is not a mass retail line so the whole 'price point' thing might not be an issue this time.

I don't see why they would as they would then sell them on hasbro pulse just like Star Convoy.

Hasbro's not involved with those figures. They're all Takara's doing, so they're not subject to any of Hasbro's standards.

I just realized Fracas and Nightstick never got the proper Targetmaster treatment alongside the other 8 1987 Targetmasters. That is a bummer. Hell, I'd take a recolor at this point, but would prefer new molds or remolds. Too bad they didn't come out with them!
