And as has been said many times in this thread already, it's a hobby, it makes people (us) happy, there should be no reason to be shunned because of it. I liked how my ex would help give me perspective on what I actually wanted, and aided in creating more of a focus and reasoned spending, rather than my initial phase of 'BUY EVERYTHING' - and all that despite not really caring or wanting to get into the franchise's stories or characteristics.

I have a 'shopping list' of all the figures I want across all the lines, although for Combiner Wars the list is pretty much 'EVERYTHING'. I actually did the reverse and have a list of what I already have for Combiner Wars so I don't unintentionally double buy. I love the 'tit for tat' budget idea, very fair to both people.

Don't have enough time to read all the previous replies, but I did a major downsizing not too long ago so all that's left is the better half of my collection now...

Besides the 'youngest' comment, she also seems to sleep with a somewhat spiky piece of plastic. There's a fair amount of creepiness coming from that post. Duragrip levels of creepiness.

Creepy, yes. As the liberals say though, what creepy people do in their own creepy bedroom is thief own creepy business....... Anyhoo.....

When we first shacked up, my wife gave me the office room downstairs, and that became the "Toy room". My collection had to stay in there. Recently, even she had to acknowledge the artistic value of the Masterpiece line, so now she lets me display my MP collection for all to see.

My youngest GF likes my collection. My oldest GF hates it. The ones in the middle fall somewhere in-between.

Wy wife doesn't give a flip about my TF collection, she's more bothered by my GF collection...
