I was just watching the season 2 finale, "The Agenda" and I must say part 3 is my favorite episode, even if it's a cliffhanger, because a lot of G1 stuff is in it as well as Megatron at his most menacing. It's my favorite ending, with Code of Hero a very very close second. But my favorite *moment* in Beast Wars has to be in "chain of Command" when Rhinox whips out his dual gatling guns and just unloads on Waspinator. That was freaking great. Poor Waspinator.

I love that scene where Rhinox goes full auto.

It has been years since I've watched Beast Wars. I'll have to add it to my current list of Transformers cartoons I'm catching up on.

I just posted this in another discussion, but "The Agenda" definitely. When Ravage and Megatron are standing on the ship and Ravage says "Decepticons Forever!!" and then transforms...man, I watched that part literally, like, 8-9 times in a row!

I'm going to have to say "the Low Road" (the one that just works entirely to set up a fart joke?) Yeah, I hate toilet humor, but it was the first episode that I spent more time paying attention to, and enjoying, the *story* and not griping about the crappy c-gen. Plus it was the start of some damn humor finally showing up.

HK, y'all thought I'd say the one where Starscream returns, didn't you? I'm on to your tricks....

Yep. I didn't tear up as much when Prime died in the '86 movie as I did at the end of CoH.

At the risk of being expelled from the fandom forcibly and with extreme prejudice, I'm in the apparently TEENSY minority who didn't like "Code of Hero." Don't get me wrong: I loved Dinobot. He was one of my favorite characters because he actually had some sort of internal conflict. But they threw all of this HORRENDEMOUS pseudo-Shakespearean monologuing and angstiness on him in that episode. It was misery. I felt better after he died because at least they couldn't make him whine any more. I was upset he died, but the manner of his death--suddenly turning into Sir Blabs a Lot--just ruined it for me. He was stoic the entire show: he should have died a stoic as well.

(Transmutate was also a good one, though).

I kinda agree with you kitty, but not to that magnitude of dislike. Yeah, they could have cut down on the talking a bit, but at the same time it was good that Dinobot revealed a little more of himself, it gave his death more meaning. They shouldn't have brought him back, though, even as an evil clone who turned good at the end. And I didn't like Transmutate.

I know it was kinda sappy/angsty. I strongly suspect that I just happened to watch that episode at a very...um....sappy/sensitive time of the month, if you know what I mean. If I saw it again, I'd probably find it overwrought. But two dudes fighting over a chick...or...whatever? Classic storyline.

Agenda + Optimal Situation. It's what got me into Beast Wars. The moment they revealed the Ark I couldn't believe it. Watched a UK DVD 5 years ago while in my late 20's and no cartoon TF or otherwise had gripped me so. Not since I first saw the 86 movie did I feel that kind of awe.

I just couldn't believe it. Megatron's speech, Ravage, the whole thing just blew me away. Of course I loved the humourous romance between Silverbolt and the Spider Lady. His knocking out of Cheetor has to be one of the funniest TF moments along with Megatron trying to instruct the cave girl on building his device(not Agenda).

As I said, I saw it on a UK DVD which had the Agenda 3-parter and the first 4 episodes of S3. What got me as well was the the text feature that gave the whole backhistory tying Beast Wars in with the G1 comics. Growing up on those, that was a real hook for me.

I have to say my favourite part which I call Agenda part 4 since it carrys on straight from part 3 has to be Optimal Situation. I loved Primal's transformation and the change in his voice. But the moment when he returns the Matrix to Optimus Prime and Prime awakens for just a few seconds before returning to his eons long slumber just haunts me.

Others include:

Possession
Spider's Game (I love Inferno)
Any Vok episode
Guerilla Warfare (think that's the name where Primal is infected with the rage virus, Poor Wapinator!)

Code of Hero was my favourite. Beautifully written and played out and it was sad when Dinobot died, c'mon I know I'm not the only one who thought that episode was better than TFTM?

hi everyone, this is my first post

I can't believe no one else's favourite episodes are The Coming of the Fuzors! I can't decide between parts 1 and 2, but those episodes are so hilarious, definitely my favourite of BW.

Next would be either The Agenda (Decepticons Forever!), Possession, or Code of Hero as Dinobot's my favourite BW character.

#1: Code Of Hero. I still salute Dinobot at the end, every time.
#2: Coming Of The Fuzors. Awesome western showdown.
#3 The Low Road. Dinobot + Rattrap= Awesome.
#4: Aftermath. I loved the gloomy additude in the Maximal headquarters.
#5: Optimal Situation. I loved the Back To The Future-esque storylines.

1. Nemezis 1&2 - the Nemezis emerging from the water - most awesome tf moment of all time, as well as the epic showdown between Rampage and Depth Charge, and the re-emerging of Dinobots consciousness - best episodes of the show
2. Coming of the Fuzors - for the western feeling
3. Agenda - add the Binaltech story as a time-space continuum backlash, and Japan did something good for once.

I don't really like Code of Hero for the sheer fact that they wrote out Dinobot, as well as Transmutate - I kinda felt sad for the poor thing, since it was just a victim between the factions.

I've never understood what was wrong with the CG. Granted I was a kid when I watched it for the first time so I was a little forgiving. I know the CG was bad in spots and it certainly wasn't Pixar or anything, but for a cartoon in the '90s it certainly wasn't bad. Maybe I can look past the CG because the actual animation was so superb. I still can't find much that beats it...

ANYWAY. I will now be on topic.

I'm going to go with Code of Hero and Bad Spark. Code of Hero for the obvious reasons, and Bad Spark because I love the whole sub plot with Rampage and the Blackarachnia/Silverbolt relationship. Plus this is one of the first times Silverbolt gets decent screen time (one of my favorite characters).
