I currently own a G1 knockoff (piece of crap), MP5, Henkei AND Classics, TFTM Leader Premium, ROTF Leader, ROTF Voyager, TFAnimated Voyager Cybertron mode, WFC, and Titanium 6" War Within Megatrons.

Henkei and Classics look awesome with the "wings" made removeable, though Henkei easily trumps Classics for color scheme there. And without the "wings", its alt mode is robot origami, so its shellformer nature costs it several points there.

The Bayverse Leaders... well, ROTF has the whole arm issue going for it which really makes it look like garbage, but its alt mode at least looks like an alien tank. The TFTM leader (Premium) has a MUCH better looking robot mode, but an alt mode that looks like it could only fly by the brute force method.

ROTF Voyager is MUCH better than either leader overall, though the green paint job is a bit weird. The only major flaw IT has is... well, it's a Bayverse Megatron, and thus doesn't look like a Transformer.

TFA Voy Cybertron Mode Megs is... well, fun looking. He does have problems with his MASSIVE cannon, but has that ineffable "Megatron" look. Too bad the style of the show means he's about as imposing as a My Little Pony.

Bringing up WFC and WWI Megs simultaneously, they both have the same problem - their alt modes just aren't that great, especially with such excellent robot modes. Titanium WWI has this MUCH worse than WFC Megs, and it COULD have been so much better if the legs only retracted.

Which brings us to MP5. A bit fragile, but positively HYUGE, imposing, and with the classic 'look' of Megatron that I grew up with, this sucker is and always will be my favorite.


EDIT: I forgot Classics Deluxe megatron (aka Classics Tank Megs). It's a decent figure, one rendered far less so by his spinning arm. Alas, alack...

Weeeeeell after deep considerations it came down to a even tie for me. I first wish to throw out into the Megatron ring my like for Rebirth Megatron aka Reverse Convoy. I really wish a better job was done (for those who know) when switching to Megatrons head and not having that space underneath to look at but oh well.

I really dig United Megs 1 because of his much bolder paint apps than that of the Generations version and 2 I do like his cybertronian alt mode. Especially when he's in hover mode it reminds me of the Hover tanks from Robotech. And my other tied Megs is Galaxy/Cybertron Galvatron who in my eyes is REALLY Megatron and I think some would agree with me! It's cool that he's a triple changer but he didn't have to be. Changing from dragster mode to bot mode is plenty for me to make him one of my favorite Megatron's....'nuff said!
