MY favorite (aside from g1 of course) is easily Energon because it had lots of combiners from G1 and it kicked ass.

I kinda like RID. I havent seen all of armada or cybertron.

Kicker and Iron Hide ruined energon for me. Their dialog drives me up the wall.

At first I thought RID sucked, but compared to the newer shows, it is very entertaining and I've grown to like it much more. Car Robots is good, but I havent't finished watching through yet. It is very different from RID, more energetic, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

Armada is very annoying, except for Starscream, he's cool in that series, but I'd love to watch Micron Legend.

Superlink/Energon both suck.

Cybertron: annoying voices and crappy, weightless animation. Galaxy Force at least fixes the voice problem, but, yeah... at least the story is doable.

BWII is very childish, but entertaining, haven't seen BW Neo yet.

BWII the movie is great once it gets started. Mejin Zarak, baby!

Headmasters is decent, not the best, but atleast it has G1 characters. Haven't watched Masterforce yet and Victory I've only seen in the english dub, so it's not fair for me to judge it. Original language adds so much to the show (except for RID/CR, I really don't know which I prefer).

Zone is the best episode ever... of any TV show... period  So much action, it blows your mind.

There's the rundown! My favorite would have to be RID/Car Robots. They are both good shows with simple and fluid animation.

I have to say Beast Machines is my favorite also, then the last season of BW and G1. BM just seemed like a fresh direction to me, I really enjoyed it.

I've loved the Armada series ever since it came out. I remember getting up every morning without hesitation just to watch it. Ticked my mom off, too, because I wouldn't do the same thing for school. xD

Good contribution... I hope you feel better now.

Anyways, my favourite... even over G1 is Beast Wars. I think they had THE BEST storylines out of any of the TF 'toons. G1 is them my second and probably Beast Machines for the only reason that it was related to Beast Wars :P . I don't really like any of the newer stuff... it seems a bit too kiddie for my tastes.

I'm probably gonna catch flak for this but ...I'm super-excited about the new cartoon. From what I've read it seems to be one of the most original and fresh toons to come around since Beast wars. Here's hoping that it really will be.

Well Beast Machines was possibly the most detailed and intricate show (for its time). It was controversial, but you can never claim that it was a show made for children.

I have never seen the end of RID due to Free to air cartoons all but dying in Australia during the early 2000's, but from what I did see, it was very good.

The last 15 or so episodes of Armada are also quite good (bar the translations) but they cannot make up for the first 35 or so episodes. Animation was better than anything else made in its time.

Energon suffered greatly from very poor translations, the story started off slow, but came good towards the end of both seasons. Animation was a tad limited, but the backgrounds were beautiful.

Once they left Speed Planet, Cybertron had the best story of the 4 imported shows, voice acting was lacklustre yet again. Animation was better than Energon by a country mile, but the backgrounds and scenery were not as good as Energons.

Overall Id have to say that my favourite non G1/Beast Wars cartoon was Cybertron, followed by Beast Machines. The new animated show has peeked my interest too.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

It is sort of a tie between G1 and BW. Some days, G1 will be over BW and, other days, BW will be over G1.

I'm finally able to tolerate BM and RiD (mainly due to the Vehicons and RiD Decepticons respectively).

The Unicron Trilogy (A/E/C) can suck my b@lls.

Considering the fact that I have only EVER seen Beast Wars, a teeny bit of Armada and a few episodes of G1, my choices are limited. But I'd have to say G1 because the whole thing wasn't one big brain-hurting time paradox (unlike Beast Wars)and it was easier to keep the characters straight (unlike Armada).

Good question. It's a close tie between G1 and BW. I'll sat G1 edges it 'cause of wicked characters like Razorclaw, Swoop and Brawl.

I like Beast Machines. It's definitely not the kids show it was supposed to be, but it was different and unique. I've always kind of likened it to the old Captain Power show because it was such an odd written show for it's time. Half the story is definitely directed for an older audience, it's pretty dark, and you either love it or hate it!

i cant say i liked any show other than g1 and bw, to be quite honest the others all sucked. If anything i liked only certain parts of other shows, what i can recall from the top of my head:

Headmasters: being able to resurrect dead autobots (seeing my fav. Prowl come in as if he wasnt blown apart by Megs fusion cannon was hilarious)

Armada: the first couple of minutes when u see cybertronian prime (basically g1 price in his classic look) griplock with megatron. that was the only time i saw the original looking prime before he got the crappy "grill in the chest" look after.

Energon: for adding in a Spike, bringing back the ghost of starscream concept, bringing in Galvatron's old look, and throwing in the quintessons although the story was way off.the combiners where hot nice to see them back in there i also liked the fact 1 died at the hands of galvatron/megatron (all the repaints and wrong forms in the series made me forget who was who lol)

Cybertron: the whole story stunk, the voices where completely off and suddently everyone became australian? the ONLY good parts to that show was classic Starscream power hungry and desperate for power, having his moment of glory as leader of the decepticons and even sporting his G1 movie crown and cape and even dying at the hands of megatron too!

They weren't resurrected; it is because the Japanese writers and animators didn't know he was dead. They didn't get TF:TM until after they started Headmasters.

If G1 and Beastwars era is out, then I would have to say Energon followed closely by Cybertron.

Energon cause Energon Megatron was cool and the gestalts were great as well. Cybertron stories were good and Optimus Prime had a kick ass look to him.

What would of made Energon even better if they had used the Cybertron Optimus Prime instead of fatimus/gestalt Prime.

I personally thought energon Megatron was one of the best Megatrons to date. Only G1/Masterpiece Megatron and Classic Megatron are better at least in my opinion.

As for Prime Cybertron Optimus Prime is right up their with Classic OptimusPrime followed by G2 Laser Optimus Prime only G1 Masterpiece Prime is better in my opinion.
