What’s your thought on the reboot

They seem to be making a conscious effort to do many things differently. Megatron's uprising is proceeding more slowly, as shown in issue 15 of the main series. He's been challenged and has had to deal with that. I wish they'd show us more history in flashbacks. What prior wars have there been? What happened in the Expansion? The end of the Expansion echoes the end of real-life Chinese overseas exploration in the 15th Century.

Overall, on the whole: it sucks and if it wasn't Transformers I wouldn't be reading it. If it weren't for Galaxies showing promise I likely would have dropped it from my pull list months ago.

There's more in my head that I don't really have time to post at the moment, but my other short thought would be that it's a book with several good high-level ideas that have been executed poorly.

It sounds it like MIGHT be one of those series that reads better in TPBs/HCs or in a binge of single issues than as single issues. The bi-weekly schedule has hurt it more than helped IMO.

Especially since there have been a whopping four issues published since that wrapped up in September. I guess that doesn't actually iron out to off schedule so badly anymore since 15 and 16 came out in the past three weeks, but wow, the irl time gap between some of these issues has been insane. Galaxies 4 is still two weeks out despite 3 having been released around Thanksgiving.
