From the TF@themoon article:
It's an Osprey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-22_Osprey) not an Offspray, is it really that hard to get that right?
The Japanese figure is much closer to the the offspray's that appeared within the live action Transformers Movie, not only in their colour scheme, but also in the number on the side of the helicopter.

Useless. That's all I can say. Useless. That stupid useless summary is the most useless thing I have read in my life. Thanks for explaining how the trans scanning gimmick works. Thanks for showing the comparisons and pics for the benefit of those who don't live in Japan and can't see the articles for ourselves. And thanks for providing the useless Snakas link that has nothing useful except links to threads that don't contain any of the information being discussed. Thanks for link after link to threads about those stupid repaints.
I'm not mad at anyone here. I'm just annoyed that someone would say "There is an article discussing Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime, in particular it discusses how the gimmick works. A image of a prototype is included in the article." without even giving a freaking hint about what the article actually said or even providing a blurry scan of the picture. I hate it when people find information and then keep it to themselves as if everyone had the same access to their source as they do, and then basically tease you with it by letting you know that they know something and refuse to let you in on it.
