Some background information on Transtech:
Transtech was originally planned by Hasbro to be the successor of Beast Machines, and continue in the vein of futuristic and original designs. However, by this point Takara had become reinterested in the Transformers brand due to the success of Beast Wars, and the renewed partnership led instead to RID, Armada, and the lines we have today.
