7 New Construct-Bots Revealed: Shockwave, Silverbolt, Deadend, Breakdown and More

Crap, Deadend is becoming more neon yellow/green with each release.

And Breakdown is somehow looking more like an off-road Tracks with each release!

As of toy fair, I was mostly interested in these for potential kitbashin' parts...but DAMN, that Shockwave has such a solid-looking alt mode that I may have to get extra to keep one complete!

Agreed, I can't find a single appealing thing about these that make me want to throw away money on them.

Though I don't collect them, I'd rather hasbro create more kreo transformers, the ones I do have are pretty sweet.

I had started to get used to Dead End being completely different every time he popped up, a bit weird seeing the Prime version of all things getting a second toy of sorts. As he is one of my favorite toys, I hope he gets more homages down the line; a repaint of Legion Wheeljack is a no-brainer, but a Kreon or even a Classics version would also be fun (if perhaps under a different name, I do kinda want to see the original Dead End appear there, too.)

i kind of like shockwave but i dont know im still not feeling these guys. I guess playing with bionicle figures back in the day spoiled me.

They're definitely Bionicles rip-offs. The only difference between the two is that the Constructbots are beefier and have characteristics shared by well-known Transformers characters and vehicles.

And check this out: when the Constructbots are armorless...



...boom, instant Bionicle with a Transformer head.

I don't have much interest in this line at all, but Shockwave might be worth getting.

Actually they're more in line with LEGO Hero Factory. Similar system. Base skeleton and armor parts are separate.
