That Roll-n-change Bee is a huge "meh". Nothing interesting going on.

But that Optimus, with limited articulation and a vehicle that look like a Minecraft construct that got an unfortunate encounter by a Creeper is so herpederp, so bad, so GARBAGE!............ I like it a lot! Especially because he mostly look like a Cybertronian Orion Pax who decided to hit the gym. Especially with that very "Animated" head sculpt.

I'll keep an eye open for that one. :APPLAUSE:

If you have to roll the toys to convert, why do they have multiple steps?

Bost likely only the first step of conversion. Like the Animated Activators. First, the automorph "explosion", then you ajust the bits.

Seeing Optimus with a FACE isn't any less jarring now than it was with Transformers Animated. The face plate is just too much a part of who he is. Any tampering is just wrong. It's like seeing a pile of doggy doo atop a birthday cake....

It says in the description. It rolls to transform from car to robot, but you have to manually convert it back to the car in 8 steps.

The joke there was it wasn't even Transformers animated that gave him a proper face, you have the Cybertron cartoon to thank for that. Even then, it seems like an Optimus Primal design element that carried over, so perhaps you should just thank Beast Wars

Optimus having a face goes all the way back to the G2 Go-Bot toy, followed by the Machine Wars redeco of G1 Thunder Clash.

And there's this age-old animation cel from the G1 cartoon:

I know these are intended for younger kids, but these toys just look really bad. Like WTF is going on with that truck mode?! This is another example of a gimmick ruining what could have been some really fun toys.

Too bad that Takara didn't include this alternate head for MP-44.

There was a storybook with a face-plate less Optimus too.

Hasbro finally revealed some ne Cyberverse toys the other day but there was an important part of the Dinobots Unite subline that was missing, the dinobots. Well, now we have Sludge to show you. He is an ultra class bot which means a slightly simplified toy with an action gimmick that is voyager sized and made with durability in mind for a younger audience. All standard limitations aside, he looks like a nice rendition of G1 Sludge, a dinobot which rarely gets much love, and a fun way to introduce him to kids. The gimmick on this toy is similar to previous ultra class figures where energon armour will pop out. For Sluge, it gives him a dino head in robot mode.

Okay, ngl, the spear/tail thing is kinda unique. I'm sure someone will (please) correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've had something like that (normally the tail is a whip or sword).

Look like a pretty solid toy!
The Cyberverse dinos may be well worth collecting.

That looks decent, I've never touched the Cyberverse toyline, but if the others get toys as good as Sludge I may get them all instead of waiting for G1 Dinobots. If Grimlock doesn't get a new toy in Dinobots Unite (I don't see why he wouldn't), I may even try tracking down a Cyberverse Ultra or Ultimate Grimlock, because I like the T-Rex mode more than the Studio Series 1986 one.

Sludge looks great. Hopefully, the other Dinobots will look just as good.
