2010 Botcon Freebie Figure is Slice - Biography Revealed

Posted by Blurrz Jun 23, 2010 at 7:57pm CDT 30,856 views
We get more 2010 BotCon news as Seibertron.com News Crew member Razorclaw0000 hooks us up with an image. It appears that character will go by the name of Slice, and he will be the 2010 BotCon Freebie figure! Slice's biography is revealed, and you can check it out in all of it's glory below!

“Now, go away, or I will crush you a second time!”

Most Decepticons make violence their vocation, others see it as an art or a means to an end. For Slice, violence is everything. When confronted with a problem, he leaps into battle, lashing out with every weapon at his disposal until either he or his enemy is a smoldering wreck, even if that enemy is an uncooperative door. He loves smashing Autobots and humans but when confronted by other Decepticons, has a quick temper born of petty cruelty.

Slice followed Breakdown to Earth look for new and interesting forms of ultra-violence. His Neuro-Centre Control Unit burned out after he landed in Toulon, France, sticking him with a thick French accent. He doesn’t mind. It gives him an excuse to start fights with friends and foes alike.

So according to his bio, having a French accent "gives him an excuse to start fights with friends and foes alike." Boy, that's borderline racist.
Cool Monty Python reference though.

As long as he doesn't get into a discourse about coconuts and swallows before crushing the autobots then I wouldn't worry about him too much... :-$

Is the French connection because France is where Exo-Suit Action Masters were most widely available?

At the risk of starting fights on flimsy excuses, at least a French accent is one that hasn't been done to death for TF voices. The only Franceformer prior to this was Cybertron Mudflap, right?

You know the 5 botcon figures Spark Breakdown Streetstar Clench and SkyByte? Where exactly do you get them? at the door? Do you have to pay an additional cost? Do you have to reserve the box set? And is the same for Slice as well?

Im pretty confused about all the figures and i just want to get a little more information.

Thanks.

Cool awesome Bio and artwork, but its a contradicting Bio though i feel. A violent, wreckless, French speaking Decepticon? come on, everyone knows that the French hates violence and probably hates robots too!!! oh well i guess. Corny

No it's not, a thick French accent sounds hilarious so when he speaks his friends will laugh at him for sounding funny which gives him an excuse to beat the shite out of them.

Best motto, ever!
And damn I want this guy now.

Crap, I was hoping Rapido would be the freebie. This guy does look pretty cool but I wouldn't passing him up. Rapido, on the other hand, is a must-buy.
