Yikes!
Glad this was never a part of the cartoon, where Wheeljack's familiar and likeable face was his "actual" face.
Kind of reminds me of the guy that the Robo-Smasher subverted in The Secret of Omega Supreme.

Wheeljack have a glorious mustache! 
Some may whine, but I love that new trope that every transformers have a face, covered by a mask or not. This make them more alive.
