We also have some unfortunate news to share, Blokees will be raising the prices on their site on May 19th. As you can read in their announcement below, they say the cost increases are a bullet they just cannot judge. Blokees was very strong in the price front, offering a fun model kit at a very reasonable price, so it's understandable that this hurts them since it gnaws at their price leader advantage, in terms of Porter’s classic competitive strategies. The good news though is that the situation they are referring to is tariffs and they could be temporary, meaning the price increase could be temporary as well.

The building experience was the BEST so far, with no overly fragile components and zero needs for glue. The light-up feature is excellent and the models are very solid once built. They are small, but they look very good. I overpaid a bit to get them, but they were well worth it. I may buy some more.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:I saw this in a news video by TJ Omega, apparently Blokees isn't allowed to sell the Devastator parts due to restrictions by the copyright holder. The speculation is the vehicles transform just enough that Hasbro said no. So no box set or anything like that. Also, probably means no combiners period.
I'm late posting because the site hasn't let me on in over a week. I posted to Reddit at the time that I'm sure Blokees thought since they don't transform in the traditional sense that they'd be fine, but didn't get it approved through Hasbro and not being able to sell in the USA is their punishment. Hasbro has been increasingly lenient on these things, we've got our figures from Robosen, Flame Toys' Victory Saber, and the upcoming transforming OP figure kit from Unix Square, there's no real good reason for Hasbro not to allow Devastator aside from them not being told ahead of time.

As I suspected, there is an alternative build that looks just as good and only uses existing figures

Of the Galaxy figures, I really like how Shockwave was built, really nice and unique kit. Also, the new neck pieces are awesome additions to help the posing, along with the extra ab crunch armor.
Of the Defenders, I love the 3 autobots in this set, they are really fun to mess with, even if I really wish I could have gotten the super rare Grimlock. Hot rod having his saw is still fun. Decepticons are good too, and i am super stoked to eventually get the Devastator parts!

I gotta say that Thrilling 30 styled Metroplex may be out of place, but he catches the eye is the best way.
