Blokees are cute, easy and affordable licensed model kits of Transformers characters, you can check out the video below if you want more info on what they are. Blokees has revealed on Twitter 3 new kits coming out in their Transformers One wave. They are Ironhide, Hound and a new troop character called Death Tracker which is based on the vehicons from Transformers Prime. We saw them in the trailers and now we know their official name. Slight spoiler, but the reason they are not "Steeve" this time around is because that name is given to someone else in the film (and no, Jack Black does not make a cameo appearance).
Here is their message:
Blokees Transformers New Reveal! In GV05, fan-favorites Ironhide, Hound, and DeathTracker return to Cybertron for an epic adventure. Don’t miss the new wave, launching September 20
It is fun to note that since Blokees models do not transform, using these to release characters that do not have a T Cog in the film, like Ironhide and Prowl works on a thematic level too.

We now have images of all Blokees model kits from not one but two different waves, the standard Galaxy Version wave and the more premium Classic Class wave. As you'll see below, some characters do repeat like Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime. Below are the two different classes/waves. You'll see which characters are there along with photos and a video at the end showing anyone not in the know what these kits are all about (though the video refers more to the (Galaxy Versions).
Transformers One Classic Class Wave: More unique from one another, more scale conscious, more parts and LED
- Optimus Prime - Megatron - B-127 (cogged) - Elita-1 (cogged) - Sentinel Prime
Galaxy Version Wave 5 Transformers One: All share parts, some more than others, all the same height.
- Orion Pax (Cogless) - B-127 (Cogless) - D-16/Megatron (Cogged) - Optimus Prime Final Form (with gun) - Chase Optimus Prime Final Form (metallic finishing, with energy axe) Ironhide (Cogless) Hound (Cogless) Death Tracker Sentinel Prime Wheeljack (Cogless)
Very interested in getting these. The only change I would make is I think the D-16 should have been the cog-less if we're only getting one and I think we should have also gotten a cog-less Elita. Other then that very happy over all.
Catching up on the Wonder Festival which took place in Shanghai, Blokees showed prototypes of upcoming Transformers model kits. They are branching out in size classes and media type. While it was all G1 and Movies so far, they revealed an IDW Megatron. He looks pretty cute in this slightly chibi design. He will be released in one of their standard blind box lines. They also showed their classic class TF One model kits, which are not blind boxes and come with more parts, and they introduced the Action Edition class. This is an 18 cm tall model kit with more details and more parts. We can see with this Megatron of theirs that you can even remove pieces to get a different look.
These are all official images from Blokees themselves.
Been building a couple of the Classic Class models and I'm really pretty impressed. I picked up ROTB Arcee on a whim a couple of weeks ago and liked her enough to also pick up the ROTB Optimus that my local Game store had in. Optimus wasn't as clean as Arcee, either in terms of mould lines or hiding the gate points, but still not bad. Weird that he's slightly chibified from his move design while she really isn't, but still fun little kits to build.
I don't build a lot of kits and have only built one entry-level Gundam kit, but I gather these are meant to sit in the same kind of zone - no-glue, no-paint, poseable action figure kits? I was impressed with the level of detail, multipart engineering and molding for the price (£17), comparing pretty well with (say) a lot of Games Workshop kits that cost multiple times what these do. And in terms of ease of assembly and poseability / play value, there's just no comparison.
What would I give for a set of Tau battlesuits with this engineering approach... Well, given it's GW, probably at least 4 times what a comparable Blokees kit would cost, but still.
I dipped my toe in, and they firmly have me. Blokees are addicting man!
I got the little galaxy defender group, which are super tiny, I got one of the main sets with a 2nd on the way, and I got more of the intricate movieverse ones. These things are fun
The Blokees Transformers line continues with the 3rd Shining Series. These model kits have a light up feature around the chest and eyes. While the previous ones were thematically aligned, this one pulls characters from IDW and G1. Check them out below.
Glow with Blokees Transformers Shining Version 03: Shattered Universe!
Ramjet, Tarn, and Miner Megatron join forces in the Shining Version 03. This set features glowing elements, not only illuminates the darkness, but also gives the character a unique charm. Diverse weaponry and stunning laser-etched details. Come and get it.
There's lots going on with the Blokees line. Did you know for instance that all those Constructicon alt mode toys are made to combine into Devastator? They do need an extra kit of combining bits though, G1 style, and that will be a problem for Americans since the US distribution arm of the Blokkes company has confirmed to fans that the add on kit will not be distributed to the US. They cite a licensing issue. You can, however, order it from the Show Z Store, along with the complete sets of Blokees needed to complete Blokees Devastator. They are absorbing the extra costs of tariffs too, so you don't pay extra once the toys land in the US (so they say). All links are below.
That Chapter 3 also has lots of new charcters we didn't have yet, which are all revealed in this video below and they include:
Shattered Glass Optimus Prime Jazz Hot Rod Grimlock Soundwave Skywarp Golden Megatron Transparent Shockwave Long Haul (alt mode for Devastator) Scrapper (alt mode for Devastator) Mixmaster (alt mode for Devastator) Shattered Glass Optimus Prime in vehicle mode
Chase figures are Metallic Grimlock, Metallic Soundwave 6 Ravage, Special Galaxy Type Grimlock, Special Galaxy Type Soundwave
And lastly, we have official images for their Galaxy Version Wave 7 Transformers One set that they revealed on Twitter. This set includes:
B-127 Cogged D-16 Alpha Trion Elita-1 Orion Pax Cogged Starscream Soundwave Shockwave Silver Tracker Megatron Final Form (with a Metallic deco version as the chase figure)
Glyph wrote:[On Blokees announcing a Heavy Metal War set] Gotta say I'm a little disappointed not to see more characters I recognise from on here - I see -Soundwave- and maybe Galvatron Prime, but maybe I'm missing someone? Perhaps they'll do a HMW 2 set with more options, sometime in the future...
Well, since it's now been 2 months since I contacted blokees about missing parts and 0 anything, no thanks. They were fun. Cool .But after that, no thank you.
