Looks good and I'm excited and all that. Little peeved that they went away for a while...
BUT.
I'm more concerned with MP Dirge. Has anyone heard anything? It's supposed to ship in May, but... May is almost over. We should have, at least, seen some in-hand images by now.
Anyways. Happy to see Artfire coming. That Targetmaster looks cool.

anyone with both Grapple and Inferno able to recognize which parts are used from each? Is this head new or one of those alternate heads reused? Thanks in advance!

Identical to Inferno but with Grapple's shoulder disks.

I wonder why the change, the original toy was a straight inferno repaint.

To better resemble the original toy, basically. Inferno is made to, of course, better resemble his show model; so he doesn't have the shoulder discs his original toy (and hence Artfire) had.

Interesting that the pre-applied decals almost exactly match those made by Reprolabels/Toyhax for Masterpiece Inferno. I wonder if Takara did that purely as a nod to the G1 toy or if they are trying to undercut Toyhax...

I'm really excited for the figure. First time experiencing the mold. Hopefully, when we get a Masterpiece Cyclonus, Nightstick is included.

Only if Takara is willing to homage the American fiction since the G1 Cyclonus toy never saw release as a Targetmaster in Japan.chuckdawg1999 wrote:I'm really excited for the figure. First time experiencing the mold. Hopefully, when we get a Masterpiece Cyclonus, Nightstick is included.

Wasn't Cyclonus a Targetmaster in the Headmaster cartoon?
