Comics Creator Len Wein Passes Away at 69

It is with sadness that we report the passing of comics industry legend - and according to pretty much all stories, human legend too - Len Wein.

Wein was the mind behind several of the most beloved franchises, from co-creating Swamp Thing and Wolverine, editing Watchmen, guest writing X-Men, Teen Titans, Man Thing, and creating Batman's Lucius Fox. Not as known, but still significant, he scripted a number of Transformers episodes across the decades from G1 "Webworld", to Beast Wars "Tangled Web" and Beast Machines "Savage Noble", plus the most recent Robots in Disguise series' "Cover Me".

The staff at Seibertron.com send their condolences and thoughts to Wein's family and loved ones.

RIP, Wein. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't think that we'd get the characters we know and love the way you made them (especially Wolverine).

Web World. One of the wackiest episodes in TF history! Shows how dangerous a foe a "sane" Megatron Galvatron can be destroying an entire world single mindedly! Also, that therapy session with the toys turning them into a lethal weapon....... PRICELESS!
