A Delightful Tedium- Derrick Wyatt of Transformers Animated mastermind fame, updated his blog 'A Delightful Tedium' with an April Fool's Day joke of sorts.

He has posted a cityscape with many characters on it in their TF Animated incarnations, but only some of them will actually appear in Season 3. So which ones will be in this new season? Derrick's not telling!

"I didn't just want to do the normal "lulz! fooled ya" type April Fools joke this year, so I'm trying something a little different. The Cybertron cityscape you see before you is populated with Autobots and Decepticons. Now, some of these bots are actually in Transformers Animated season 3, and that's no joke. But, of course, some of them are not.

I love the 3 cassettes. I miss the cassettes in general. Since there are a few of them, maybe it's not a fool... but I doubt we'll see cassettes again.

I hope the purple Shockwave appears. It would be nostalgic, and a nice nod to him finally showing his "true colors." Huffer and Pipes' designs look a little too well thought out to be hoaxes. Finally, it's interesting how they showed Rodimus's vehicle mode; What do you think that might suggest?

Vangelus is in there, thats unexpected! And look at the size of Grandus, he is huge!

That alt mode for Rodimus is all sorts of awesome though. I need it in toy form.

Let's see here's my take on the likelyhood of these characters...

Rodimus Prime - Already shown in season three, but is this truly his vehicle mode? (I hope so, it'd make a badass toy)

Sky Garry - Distinctly possible as a background bot

Grandus - Dear god I hope not... though Derrick did a nice job making him a big tub of slag. Looks appropriate.

Animated Personality Vangelus - I'm gonna say.... maybe?

Huffer - I'm gonna say no

Pipes - Ditto, though if they do show up, they better sound like the old cartoon Mario Bros. (Special guest stars Lou Albano and Danny Wells?)

Botanica - I can see this one happening, Botanica's one of those rare characters with little fanbase to her. It'd be nice to see her used again... definitely a foe for Strika

Tap-Out - There's enough Bbee repaints out there, I'd say no-go

Zaur - Sadly, unlikely... the japanese exclusive cassettes never get any love... plus... no Dial?!

Slapper - Shown already in S3, though in different colours, wasn't he?

Sundor and Flip-Sides - Please... please god... no...

Target Exclusive (True Colors) Shockwave - I wouldn't be surprised if, after coming out of hiding and going full-con, shocky donned these colours.

I pretty much agree with all your calls, but I think Huffer & Pipes may make it in as comic relief. If they voice them as a Mario & Luigi homage, all the better!

Oh my dear god that would be totally awesome and random!

I think Slapper might be in seeing as it would be easy money for Hasbro, maybe even Shockwave, but I kinda doubt it.
But I do think that Botanica might show up as this is written by the same guy as BM.
SkyGarry I really do think is in it, S205 showed us his animation model which he got from his friend who is an animator.
The rest I have no clue but damn I want that Grandus.

super mario bros. princess taodstool, & the big decepticon looks like boswer in some way big white autobot lokos like meteroplex looks dumb founded with that face buckteeth could be redneck character, freanzy or rumble that female cassette, dinosouar autobot unkown, springer or hound green autobot.

could there be a predacon in there.?

wingsaber or starsaber i didnt see the first 3 episodes of season 3 so either hes rodimus or hotrod like to see him as figure same with warpath, ironhide & others except maybe constructions may not want to see them as toys i would like to see rodimus with trailer that would be intersting super mode of his like prwol has with that samuair armor he wears

green guy has a bumblebee g1 cybertron look to him in bot mode

we need more figures in this series

Hah, props to Vangelus. Though his ego is going to assplode. I'm guessing this will be his new pic-pick in the next podcast.

Though I doubt Sundor will be present, I think this is our first look at Lazorbeak in robot(condor) mode. Aside from the colours.

Damn Rodimus Prime looks hot!

I hope Grandus and Sky Garry are in it. Maybe Prime will get an upgrade into Star Convoy too.

Saur would be sweet as well! The rest...meh. They're (the ones I didn't name) probably all the ones that are in it.
