Agreed. Although, the N.E.S.T./GDO mold is actually quite nice. Not Megatron nice, but nice.

Not sure I really want another redeco of Optimus Prime, heck, from the image he looks exactly the same as previous versions?
Now, a G1 redeco of the Voyager tank Megatron does sound rather interesting as weve only had the G2 deco if I remember correctly?

Thats one repaint I would like to see alongside the recent Toyworld Voyager Orion/Optimus Prime...

Biggest difference from the Henkei! Henkei! version I can tell is that this one has one Autobot symbol on his left shoulder while the former had two, one on each shoulder.robotmel wrote::-?

And the truck kibble in the arms seem to be stripe-less, being solid red here.
And his smokestack gun is black this time instead of silver. As is his truck wind vane, so his altmode might be partially black.

Why can't we get an upsized version of that?

The comics that come with these figures might be two different versions from each other: "Transformers Cloud Comic (Optimus Version)" and "Transformers Cloud Comic (Megatron Version)"
They seem to be splitting the two figures between the two vendors. Optimus will be exclusive to TakaraTomy Mall and Megatron will be exclusive to e-HOBBY.

"TG" = "Transformers Generations". At least, in Japan it does.Flux Convoy wrote:megatronus wrote:Flux Convoy wrote:I'm out. Enough Alternity/GT stupidity.

And I find this statement from Duque to be very implausible since this is just an online exclusive promotion, whereas Generations (as well as the Super GT toys) have been standard retail releases in Japan. Why a mass retail line would be canned for a limited selection of online exclusives that can only be purchased from two vendors is completely nonsensical.
It'd be like trying to sell the entire Age of Extinction toyline at just Kmart stores two figures at a time.

Already own both Classics Optimus and Megatron, so while these pique my interest, unless they're sold separately, it's a no-go from me.
Now, if only some third party group makes a fusion cannon for this mold...

I got that. I just have no idea what this has to do with Alternity/GT.

Megatron is the eHOBBY exclusive while Optimus is TakaraTomy Mall's exclusive.

Megatron on the other hand is completely ignorable as the mold never suited him to begin with, and even so I only ever cared for the G2 color scheme.

I really wish we would get an updated Classics Prime.
For the 500 thousand versions of movie Prime we've gotten, would it kill them to offer a new GeeWunny style Voyager Optimus?
Looking over the Megatron from pictures, it may be OK in his original colors, I'll have to see it rendered in plastic. I dislike the GDO head, and it looks like that is what they will use. It doesn't really fit the look and feel of the rest of the mold.
