For those unaware, a new product has been gaining in popularity among Transformers fans and they are the licensed Blokees model kits. Blokees are licensed Transformers themed model kits. The pieces are on sprue trees and must be detached and then put together to create a poseable non transforming figure. They are in blind boxes and can be purchased on Ali Express but they are also available on the Blokees site: https://blokees.com/

While there are already many series out (the part sharing and standardized design make these far quicker to design and produce), we now know of 2 more: Shining Series 2 and Transformers One. For Transformers One, all we have is a grainy image, we can't even make them all out (is that first one Wheeljack?) but for Shining Series 2, we have official images showing G1 Optimus Prime, G1 Grimlock, G1 Sideswipe, G1 Beachcomber, G1 Soundwave, G1 Sunstorm, and the chase figure being "Optimus Prime Secret". These have LED lights, hence the name of the series.

These kits aren't quite my cup of T-formers, but that Mirage makes me want to see RotB again to check the accuracy of the "This guy!"-point hand-sculpt, so thanks for posting all this! Feels like I should have at least heard of this line long ago.

One of the upcoming series is Transformers One, which fits really well with this kind of toy since many characters cannot transform in the film (at least at the beginning). It was unclear who all the characters we'd be getting were, but now this image from Baidu shows us that one of them could be Hound. We can tell it's from Transformers One due to the hole in the chest, and the rest of the configuration is very much that of a Blokees toy. Still, this could be from another series or a custom. Given the characters on that blurry picture of the wave with two version of Pax, but only one Bee and Megatron and seemingly no Elita really makes me hope Blokees does at least two waves for this movie. Even still I do look forward to getting Hound in their fun style.

I hadn't hear of Blokees doing TF:one figures yet, though Yolopark has a nice assortment of them. Thought this was yolopark at very first, but looking at the shoulders, looks more blokee now

Are all you Transformers fans caught up on Blokees yet? Not necessarily in collecting them, but at least being aware of the growing number of releases. They are a fun and inexpensive licensed series of models that work well as figures. The second Shining Version series is out in Asia now, and can be ordered on sites like Ali Express. If you are curious about it, we have reviews for all the characters below. These are called "Shining version" due to their LED lights which will light up their eyes (and chest for certain characters).

Blokees are cute, easy and affordable licensed model kits of Transformers characters, you can check out the video below if you want more info on what they are. Blokees has revealed on Twitter 3 new kits coming out in their Transformers One wave. They are Ironhide, Hound and a new troop character called Death Tracker which is based on the vehicons from Transformers Prime. We saw them in the trailers and now we know their official name. Slight spoiler, but the reason they are not "Steeve" this time around is because that name is given to someone else in the film (and no, Jack Black does not make a cameo appearance).

It is fun to note that since Blokees models do not transform, using these to release characters that do not have a T Cog in the film, like Ironhide and Prowl works on a thematic level too.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I imagine a lot of bots have similar "molds" pre-cog.

We now have images of all Blokees model kits from not one but two different waves, the standard Galaxy Version wave and the more premium Classic Class wave. As you'll see below, some characters do repeat like Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime. Below are the two different classes/waves. You'll see which characters are there along with photos and a video at the end showing anyone not in the know what these kits are all about (though the video refers more to the (Galaxy Versions).

Transformers One Classic Class Wave: More unique from one another, more scale conscious, more parts and LED

- Optimus Prime
- Megatron
- B-127 (cogged)
- Elita-1 (cogged)
- Sentinel Prime

Galaxy Version Wave 5 Transformers One: All share parts, some more than others, all the same height.

- Orion Pax (Cogless)
- B-127 (Cogless)

Very interested in getting these. The only change I would make is I think the D-16 should have been the cog-less if we're only getting one and I think we should have also gotten a cog-less Elita. Other then that very happy over all.

Catching up on the Wonder Festival which took place in Shanghai, Blokees showed prototypes of upcoming Transformers model kits. They are branching out in size classes and media type. While it was all G1 and Movies so far, they revealed an IDW Megatron. He looks pretty cute in this slightly chibi design. He will be released in one of their standard blind box lines. They also showed their classic class TF One model kits, which are not blind boxes and come with more parts, and they introduced the Action Edition class. This is an 18 cm tall model kit with more details and more parts. We can see with this Megatron of theirs that you can even remove pieces to get a different look.
