Transformers have appeared across a number of TV shows, movies and series - and as of last night (in the US) it looks like they have a tasty place in food TV as well, as Food Network TV's Cake Wars features a new episode dedicated to the Cybertronians, which aired last night! If this is your sort of thing, catch up with the program until November 3rd, and join Hasbro's Simon Waters in judging the sweet Energon goodies. For those of you looking for this episode on your DVR's or On Demand, this is Cake Wars Season 4 Episode 7. Enjoy!

Can we double check on the source of this news? As soon as I saw it, I called my fiancé at home to have the DVR set up to record this tonight. He checked Food Network at 9:00 PM (central time zone) and found only a marathon of "Chopped" listed tonight. Searching for "Cake Wars" brought up the Transformers episode as listed "On Demand" and available until Wednesday, November 3, 2016. Note: our cable provider is Comcast/Xfinity.

I can't find the episode on my DirecTV guide or in the On Demand section. I see other episodes, but not a Transformers themed one. When did this air?

Found it. It is in On Demand, but it doesn't show up when I click on "Cake Wars" in the left hand menu. It only shows up when I click on "Missed It? Watch Now" at the top of the left menu, then select "Cake Wars" in the right menu. Nicely organized DirecTV or Food Network!
