New Stock Photos of Siege Deluxe Wave 3 In and Out of Package

Red Alert just went from a buy to no-buy for me.

why is it that you can only preorder red alert from that wave

It's worth noting that not only did CG render Red Alert have red biceps, his lightbar was also red, his head was a red version of Sideswipe's, and he had more Cybertronian text on his front hood/stomach (and I think his gun thingy was gray, but w/e). That's a serious change from this, and it's really disappointing. Methinks someone went ham on Sideswipe with the photo editor before checking to see if it was financially feasible. Vehicle mode looks nice, but that's prob not the most he'll be displayed in most...

Edit: Now that I look at it more, the light bar is a different color from the other black parts on Red Alert. It may not actually be black after all. Could just be a darker translucent red, and the lighting is playing tricks on us.

Even if it’s a dark smoke color like his window (?) that would help. Really starting to wonder who signs off on these

I had previously seen the Jetfire stock images on TFW when someone from The Fwoosh posted them there. In classic Hasbro stock photo fashion, the figure is slightly mistransformed in robot mode (the backpack should be slid upwards to conceal the blue cockpit on it)

The changes to Red Alert's deco are disappointing, but I will still get him. I already bought a second Sideswipe just so I could give Red Alert a shoulder cannon. Now I'll have to buy a second Prowl to give Red Alert a proper bright red light bar. I'll have to figure out something to do with the extra Sideswipe and Prowl figures, though.
