Anyone else think the zeppelin mode looks like Scourge's hovercraft/spaceship mode (streampunk-style) attached upside down to a balloon? I'm not complaining, looks pretty awesome (why don't we have more zeppelin-formers?), but I did want to point that out.

Just as cool as the time Nemesis Prime (Also sometimes named Scourge hmmm) had machine gun smokestacks.
More Bots should replace their body parts with machine guns for the rule of cool.

Shouldn't be too hard to create one at home--just take an ordinary Scourge, change the gun on his head, turn him upside down, and attach to football shaped balloon from grocery store. Done!

In more updates from Italian Transformers artist Guido Guidi - who will be the special guest at Cybertrome as seen here - we have some additional Hearts of Steel (the IDW alternate universe miniseries) concept art, this time for Decepticon Soundwave! The character was intended to turn into a steam locomotive with megaphone, and includes cargo hold for the likes of Rumble, Ravage, Frenzy, Laserbeak and Squawkbox. Check it out mirrored below!

Wow, that's awesome! A shame MMC isn't doing their Hearts of Steel inspired line anymore, I'd love to see some of these designs done in figure form.

Hearts of steel certainly was a thing of IDW being new with the franchise. It's nice to see it's getting some kind of resurrection in the current age of their books

For Scourge, I'm guessing he mostly transformed into the blimp's cockpit, with the rest of the body inflating to full size upon completion of the transformation.
Soundwave, however, looks just a tad too cartoony with that silly-looking oversized megaphone that looks more like a big flower than not.
