Courtesy of a number of users, in particular Victor Wong, on the Hong Kong based Facebook group HK-TF, we have some in-package and in-hand images of the white and gold redeco of the Voyager Optimus Prime toy from the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars line: Battle Core Optimus! The toy is made to reflect the IDW comic appearance in the Combiner Wars event, and is intended to form Optimus Maximus with the upcoming Prowl, Ironhide, Mirage and Sunstreaker deluxes - check out the mirrored images below.

80% bought, but only because of the uncanny resemblance to Nova Prime. Just needs a pair of wings and booties and BLAM makeshift Generations Nova Prime.

Never notice primes hand go past his knees same with combiner wars combiners very gorilla like prime legs need to be long proportions on his arms are weird,

Original prime colors are better

Surprisingly, this Optimus figure has more paint details than the original Voyager Class Optimus Prime. I'm surprised nobody noticed.

Aaand that sells it to me. I was going to skip this and use his Deluxe partners on the Wave 1 toy (while Cyclonus gets the rejected ones from the first three waves because I got Quickslinger and Brake-Neck and hope for a Deluxe Groove outside the Guardian set), but to use it as a Nova Prime is actually a good idea.

Obvious Nova Prime homage is obvious.

Probably not called that due to being an evil character and bad guys don't sell or something.

This repaint is better then every single version of red and blue murica Optimus I have always hated the two colors combined.

White is a better color for leader type characters.

I'm thinking the same thing. I haven't picked up any version of the mold, and I definitely like it, but not well enough to snag at full price. This white version is spectacular for what it is, and IDDW Nova is a pretty cool character.

I'm not sure if that really was the intention. In his first appearance he was the Ultra Prime red and blue. I'm 99% sure that they changed the colors on him in the comics because they got the colors for the toy in after the first appearance was finalized and Hasbro wanted this deco to be with the limbs coming out around the same time.
