I've never used this phrase before, but I'd say his face looks...angrily constipated.

You don't need to cross out that Alpha Bravo is the Greatest Autobot of All Time, it is fact that he is.

Hasbro will drop the ball if they don't reveal a set of CW sweeps at Botcon with parts to form Galvatron's cannon. I love the idea of cyclonus hijacking bodies to combine with though.

One of the things I noticed that has made me pass on these Combiner Wars figures is they all seem to have most of there parts on their back, in other words (Back Packs ).
This is a easy way out in design, make most of the parts just flip up on the back like a shell in robot mode.
I don't like these designs and hope that the Constructicons are not so much this way. That is the set I am after.
To each his own, but my displays must be worthy.

You realise that most of the G1 combiner limbs were the same in regards to having "backpacks".
Blades looks sufficiently different from Alpha Bravo, which is a plus for me.

Were the G1 figures any different? Slide out/flip around legs, pull out arms, flip up the front, and you're done
Blades look pretty decent, can't wait to get him. Would be perfect if I found and bought him before any other limbs, since he's the very first Combiner limb I ever got.

Finally this mold gets justice. Now it has a purpose besides just being a Hasbro social experiment.

First of, sorry, I tend to take everyone's opinion on the internet as that of an expert, super balanced person.
But Combiner Wars is by far one of the best Transformers lines ever. G1 characters, better than Cybertron posability yet still very stable solid figures with not to complex transformations.
To even compare this to non-transforming limbs & a "scout" sized team leader is simply
Agreed with the he has to be Overlord but if they call him Overlord the fandom will once again
Now my opinion, which is awesome, I like Cyclonus! A lot more than the flimsy Takara Henkei one which I ditched. Now he has the bulk he should have, that sniper pose is awesome
I am Really liking what Hasbro is doing here. I thought it could not be done, mega (voyager) sized teamleaders with deluxe limbs. But I lost my right to complain about anything Transformers HasTak sends out since Fall of Cybertron/Generations. They already have my full support till 2017 or something.

I'm treating the CW stuff a lot like PCC figures.
They are fun, and I'm not taking them too seriously.
I'll prolly get it.

If it was, you failed.
Great figure, both of them. Easily my favourite design of the line, not so sold on Blades head but i'm not going hardcore G1 on the line

These are not G1 figures (Transformers Generations Combiner Wars) and it's 2015. Is this the best we can do in design?
Hell, G1 figures might have been blocky, but many didn't have back pack style designs. Also they stand the test of time and don't fall apart like the new China reissues of G1 figures or light weight crappy feeling plastic of today. Just saying !
Like I said, I will leave them on the pegs for you my friend, spend your money !

Great way ti sum up my feelings on this awesome line. I also think its a rejuvination of what was started in Cybertron, but taken to the enxt step.
What an odd quote to come from someone called G1collector. At first I was gonna defend the guy and say "come one Jelze, maybe he doesnt know G1", but yeah, cant say that. The traditional place for kibble is the front chest of the robot but since they need that spot to not be an obstacle to the combining gimick, it must be left free. I am just thankful they would a way around making it the heads that connect. That is a huge improvement that means not all heads have to have the same shape anymore.

When it comes to design, sometimes less is more. I actually appreciate the simplicity in design and transformation compared to the unnecessarily complex 3P offerings (I feel sick after saying 3P...). But whatever floats your boat

Protectobots are coming and yet we haven't got our Menasor and Megatron here. I'm pretty sure that we will be getting a Vortex out of this mold.

Sure , you can find G1 with some backpack style transformations, but most did not. Megatron, Blaster, Prime,Soudwave, I can't list them all here and everyone knows the deal with Blocky G1 figures.
My point is, this is 2015 and seems that they are just cutting corners big time in design by throwing so much crap on the backs of these bots. I love that they can combine, but it's not easy or cheap to come up with a design that can look good in all 3 modes, right.
