Hot Rod looks amazing, not to sure about Twinferno and his arms though. Too bad we didn't get to see their titanmasters.

Yes! I was right I know how the back section transforms you have to pull it out then there's a mushroom peg you have to twist it around on then it is flat like in the box.

I'm the opposite. I think Twinferno looks awesome, but Hot Rod is kinda Meh

Hate to nitpick, but if I don't bring this out, my brother will have a hissy fit (being a big Hot Rod person). The article calls Roddy "Rodimus". It's actually "Autobot Hot Rod". Small nitpick, but it's been forever since we've gotten a toy named Hot Rod.

Da freak? The spoiler is like, a Hot Rod classic. Every Roddy (except now Movie Hot Rod) featured it. And I really really don't see the orange there. He's red, I'm pretty sure.

You know, I checked three times to make sure I had the right name (I mix them up sometimes if I'm not newsing three weeks' straight) and I thought I had the right one. Clearly not! Thanks!

He means the bright and loud yellow color of the spoiler clashes with the more subtle and faded orange color of Hot Rod's thighs, fists, chest, shoulder joints, and other little pieces since faded orange, not bright yellow, is this Hot Rod's toy secondary color.

Twinferno would be perfect if he had wrist swivels. Still, he's an absolute must-buy as it is.

His crotch looks like a sad anime octopus...

The only thing I don't care for on the Hot Rod figure is the gigantic shoulders. Otherwise it's acceptable.

Dont worry they will come, they've all been bought by the big stores so its only a matter of time before they release them. They are trickling out slowly in Canada too with Wave 2 deluxes finally being found at walmart.

The states will get them too, its just taking time. However, Wave 2 taking time to show up means we probably wont see wave 3 until 2017 (my guess).

The person was talking about colours clashing only.

Shame about him not looking more like his MTMTE self, but I can of course understand why and he'll be good enough for my shelf if Chromedome is. Tall shoulders really help with that.

Hot Rod looks good but goddamnit I wish this fad of hollow weapons would end already. At least put hatches on them like on Hardhead if you're going to do this so they don't look awful all the time. On the plus side, provided I can get good at 3D modelling I could make a killing selling ammo/tech detail block things on Shapeways to fill in all the hollow bits on these weapons.

Doublecross/Twinferno looks good too, but...I dunno. The lack of wrist swivels really hurts him. Also I wish Repugnus was getting a toy other than a Titanmaster vehicle (as cute as it is).

But they are hollow so that you can connect them together and create an extra seat for the titan master. Do you have highbrow?

Oh I know WHY they're hollow, I just don't think it was the best decision. It doesn't overly bother me, it just seems a bit of an odd choice and I'd have rather they left out the headmaster "seats" for better looking guns (or at least done a Hardhead for all the weapons and given the seats retractable covers).

And no, I don't have Highbrow, he's not out over here yet unfortunately. I'm actually torn as to whether to go for TR Highbrow or the Highbrow-in-name-only but utterly awesome looking ROTF figure. On the one hand, Headmasters are cool, and TR Highbrow looks like a fun figure. On the other hand, ROTF Highbrow looks awesome and he turns into a homage to a P-38 Lightning. Decisions decisions...

That hot rod, hot rodimus, autobot hot rod looks horrible. It looks like a simplified version of RId aesthetics. Sorry, I was fiddling with the no version if hot rid last night and made an unfair comparison. But that sinnertwin looks good

I got both and you could too Also, fair warning but that ROTF Highbrow is prone to breakage, mine broke.

Wave 3 is a killer right now. Both of these guys look great and are must buys, and then there is Triggerhappy as well. And the fact that Hot Rod and Twinferno have almost zero kibble is awesome

I am REALLY digging Titans Return Hot Rod. That sculpt is just fantastic for a "Classics" take on the character. I'm hoping Takara will do a version as well. I expect they'll make sure the lower legs are entirely gray (at least in the front), the hands are gray, and add a few more touches, like the orange and yellow paint details on the wrist "cuffs," to make him as "G1" cartoon accurate as possible.

These latest pics of Hot Rod do look alright. I can already envision how much better he will look when Takara adds their touch. Just look at LG Blurr...'nuff said!

This is a random thing to say I guess, but I prefer to think of the Headmasters as all one character like in the Japanese fiction. Having Highbrow be a genius, and having his head turn into a separate character that Highbrow doesn't like that much doesn't make sense to me. I don't like to think of them as organics in suits either. I like to think that Gort/Xort is just as smart as Highbrow because they're the same character. Same with the others. The non-headmasters characters though I don't care much about.

On topic, I know we just got a Cyclonus in the CW line, but...would people want a headmaster Cyclonus? Then we could have the Unicron Trio in scale and all headmasters! I dunno, seemed like a cool idea.

Found in Zachary, Louisiana, just north of Baton Rouge!

Went to my Walgreens, they had Hardhead and Skullsmasher with no transformers in back.

TRU, Target, and both Walmarts also only had wave 1 deluxes. No wave 2 things, and they all checked their back rooms. bugger.

On the plus side, TRU did have the wave 2 legends dudes, so I got Ravage and Laserbeak

People seem to be snapping the rotors while trying to fold them (when they don't fold). - or is there some other issue.

As to the issue of gappy-guns - the ones with squarish holes left in them like Highbrow or Wolfwire/Weirdwolf look like an Energon magazine would be a good filler for them.

When I look at Skullsmasher/Skullcrunchers tail I think a smaller mirror of the tail that can fit inside the same way up and also allow gun storage or flip the other way up and put a cabin roof on the gun seat mode - as well as look more like the original toy's tail club - and then also it would fit in the hole or on the plug and make a double shield mode.

That sort of thing would be Useful - and it would only need one piece or two if you add a handle.

Also gap fillers for the legs would be nice but I'm gonna try to whittle my own when I can be bothered.

It would appear from the new pictures up at Tformers that Rodimus' ab flip down is optional. Meaning you can opt for non-hollow abs.

Not sure about Hot Rod, who looks more likes an Deluxe sized Legends figure to me. I honestly prefer how he turned out on his Classics set more, but I know that there will be some fans that would be interested in him.

Twinferno looks neat, but I can almost tee another face on his torso.
