What is so "special" about this exclusive figure? It seems identical with the one we already know.Of course there is always the possibility I am wrong...

I still think the Robovision version from the last movie was the best use of the mold.

I agree with you there, it does not seem much different than the version that you can find at US retail right now, but maybe this is not a version that was available to Japan through TakaraTomy? So maybe this is like a USA edition of it?

Figure King magazine scans that featured ROTF Voyager Prime revealed that he has no designation number, meaning he's not part of the main line (Same goes for Interrogator Barricade btw). Voyager Prime was released only once in the previous movie line there, and since TakaraTomy doesn't seem to like repaints unless they're exclusives... This is not for us US folks ;)

The picture of the truck mode doesn't have the chinese characters on the hood or the sleeper, yet the picture of the robot mode does.

How peculiar.

No it's not, the colors are too dark. Besides, see how the vehicle mode retains the worn :BOT: ?

Alas, that doesn't quite come across on-screen too well - I'll just have to take your word for it.

Maybe you could use a pink font to indicate your sexy voice next time! :D
