The scout repaint from the second movie? Not the best fit but they're both 4WD looking 'Cons with some yellow on them.

They're fun to have. If you have any of the regular Kreons, these aren't too different. They just have extra parts so that you can convert them from robot mode to their alternate mode. They don't transform ... you have to take them apart to do their alternate transformation (or buy two so that you don't have to bother with that).
The only problem I had is the "extra" pieces don't attach that well, fall off or are easily moved so pieces are crooked. Out of frustration with this while doing their alternate mode pictures, I finally decided to just super glue the extra pieces together. I don't plan on taking these apart and was tired of having to put them back together because of pieces getting knocked off. I only super glued necessary pieces. The super glued pieces do not affect their poseability or their ability to take off the extra chest piece to make them look more like regular Kreons and expose their chest designs which homage their original character designs.

On 1st look I thought "Oh finally Toxitron gets released!" But nope.
Still waiting for the day RTS Prime gets this repaint...

nice solution. so now on to the combiners, I hope that their connections are strong enough. though I have thousands of legos so ill probably try to retrofit rather than go straight for the glue.

I think their logic behind that choice is that Waspinators non 'mutant' head sculpt was quite Jazz'esk. Atleast closer to Jazz than any of the other 'helmets' they had available to use.
I love the printed detail on their chest, its a shame the vest peices cover them up.

I agree ... seems like they could have modified the main body to have a port on the back to connect the extra pieces instead of having to add an extra chest piece. This would have cut the cost of one extra piece from these figures and allowed the details on their chests to display without being covered up. Ah well, they're still fun desk fodder.
I had forgotten how much I liked the little Kreons until I did these galleries. I haven't done much with Kre-o in over a year since my flood at the end of July 2011. Never built Sentinel Prime or Optimus Prime, have a bunch of half finished galleries for the ones that aren't on Seibertron.com currently, and haven't bought the new sets yet (well, not enough to do galleries yet) since I'm waiting for them to go on sale at some point.

Or at least print the pattern on top of the chest piece.
Wonder how easy it is to cut off the chest part. Scorponok/Spinister's looks far too thick to bother, but Waspinator/Galvatron's looks pretty thin...

E-Hobby Sunstorm would like a word with you.

There's also a Titanium Sunstorm.

The only things I could whine about are the rather crooked and misfitted wheels in Crankstart's altmode, and, not relating to the quality of the toys themselves, the "6-12" age rating. Considering that the vast majority Transformers fans who know about Sunstorm, Galvatron, etc. are either teenagers or adults, and that quite a few older fans would like to buy these Kreons, I think that younger kids would know much more about characters that are in the newer fictional franchises. I think that a "6+" (like LEGO does for a few of its products) rating would be more appropriate for these Kreons, as a fan who obtains the toys rarely. (If you are wondering why I would even bother complaining about the age ratings, it is just a personal peeve of mine that I wanted to let out. Don't really bother with it.)

Again, why have Sunstorm in every single way possible except for Classics? It's just baffling to me. The closest thing we have is the CHMS KOs.
