Ahh...memories... I got that set last year around this time at that same price. I had seen it in the upper $40 range not too long ago, but what you reported- really is a great deal. Odd that this still exists, and the Autobot set from last year is still retail price, but the Skywarp set is long gone and goes for insane prices on the secondary market.

Skywarp was the biggest name out of the 3 sets (maybe Mirage too, but not Holo Mirage) and the only way he was available, so it isn't surprising that his set sold out that quickly and is getting scalped while the others lingered. What is surprising is that they are still lingering and that Amazon hasn't put them at a "make them go away" price yet.

I think $38 for 3 deluxes is pretty darn low

. I wanted it last year just for Aragon, and would have been willing to pay close to $30 for him alone, I'm glad I held out, I gave Mirage and Impactor to my son. My collection is quite specialized, but every once in a while its nice to have something different thrown in there.

It didn't sell out that quickly, it just sold out, same with greenlight, unlike these. Everyone who placed their preorder got it and there was enough for everyone once it was released. The only ones who didn't get it (out of those that could in the first place) were those who were waiting for price drops. I was one of those.

Greenlight was a day one purchase for me, mostly because I wanted to complete Orthia (as I imagine would be for most people who wanted it). I do remember it lasting for a little while. I was able to snag the battlemasters from both Amazon sets separately, at quite a reasonable price. If TT Selects is in the business of reissuing past toys, as much as it would pain me, I would think an Orthia Selects release would get a far more positive fan response than the recent Volcanicus and Abominus offerings.

So sad lol I just got the impactor from this set off ebay for $25 (originally $35 but I had a $10 off coupon) and I wouldn't have minded paying the $38 for this set since I dont have a mirage or any weaponizers lol

Friend to the site Elitabeth-1 has written to let us know of all that Five Below has to offer related to Transformers this holiday season, which make fun stocking stuffers. This is an American discount store chain where almost everything is $5 or less.

In the images sent we see Cyberverse one step toys, the cheaper evergreen styled toys, Botbots exclusives, Cyberverse scouts, Titan Masters and some apparel as well.

So I'm double posting this here and in the Kingdom thread in hopes of possibly creating a steal of a deal for many of us. When others found Cyclonus apparently in stock at Gamestop, I took a look myself, but decided to pass and wait for Amazon.

But I happened to notice that Gamestop has the prices wrong and low for most of wave 2. The have the deluxes at $16.99, Voyagers at $24.99 and Leader UM at $44.99.

However this actually is not a great deal because of how Gamestop set up their pre-orders. They are treating each item as a separate "order" as far as how their free shipping at $35 per order goes. They are charging $6 for shipping on each item since they won't let you combine. The only way I've found to get free shipping is to order enough of each individual item to get each item above $35, so 3 Airazors will work, but not 1 each of the 3 deluxes. Basically the great price gets wiped out by the shipping. Anyone interested in Kingdom UM can get him for free shipping since he is above the threshold all on his own.

However, I do have a challenge for everyone that has the wave 2 deluxes or voyagers on pre-order with Amazon. Go to the page for each item on Amazon, and report a lower price and give them the link to Gamestop's page for each item. In enough of us do it, it might make Amazon lower their price to match Gamestop and give us all the better pricing that have pre-ordered on Amazon. You can find the link to report a lower price in the Product Information area, under the feedback heading (scroll down a bit).

I'll be curious to see if this will work before scalpers see the price and wipe Gamestop out of stock.

I found a walmart that had ER Voyagers on clearance at $17, I don't know what this means for the rest of the line. When I was there they had 3 Hoists, a Starscream, and a Snapdragon. Or maybe it was 3 Snapdragons and a Hoist, I do not recall. I grabbed Screamer for myself. If you live in Georiga it was at 1550 Scenic Hwy N, Snellville, GA 30078, and I'll post this in the Georgia sightings thread as well.

I just cancelled my Pulse orders (I think?) and switched to amazon. Saved $5 on Dinobot, which was worth it.

Not sure about Pulse though, I selected all 3, but I only got a cancellation for Airazor, but the order on the website acts like I cancelled all 3... sooooooooo?

I have the TR ones and have no regrets. Of course I got those sets for other reasons, but the clones were a bonus. This price is basically the same that walgreens charged for their set back in 2017. Amazon probably has a surplus this the reduced price. The Mirage/Impactor/Aragon set is still on sale as well.
