Especially if they do a Greatshot recolor.

Yeah, I've always been baffled by the fact that so many fans think Ravage is a dog despite overwhelming evidence that he's a jaguar (or a black panther, as they're technically jaguars without the yellow, right?), and yet I've never heard anyone question Six Shot's creature alt being a wolf. It's awesome, but it looks more like a tiger-headed bear on steroids. Is he also called a wolf in Headmasters?
As cool as this is, I'd be a lot more interested if this leads to some of the rejected designs for Quickswitch getting made into toys, especially the one with just different animal alt modes. I read about that in the Cybertronian guide for '88, but have the actual design pics ever surfaced?

I'm really digging how this looks, like a one-bot death machine. In my book, this is full of win. If i get it, it will not leave my desk.

I realize they fixed most, if not all, of those issues in the redeco, but still...at the kind of money they command for their work, I'm not sure this is the most reliable investment for my collection.
I'll have to see the finished product and see what the reviews say before I even pre-order the thing.
Shows tremendous promise, though.

If he is good i'll probably have him battle Classic Ultra Magnus (City Commander).

I'd rather wait for MMC's Hearts of Steel models.

Well, given the fact that this is probably going to have full articulation everywhere, as well as a ton more detail in every mode, I'm sure it'll be much better than the G1, in regards to engineering and play value. I'll take a little more kibble if it means a 21st century Sixshot figure.

I for one am very happy with the proposed height of Hexatron. I remember him towering over Cyclonus in The Headmasters Pt. 1 just after he shot down the Aerialbots on his todd. Considering I've never owned a Sixshot figure I think I'm going to be all over this. I think he looks awesome.
I can't comment on MMC's quality and other people's comments do concern me slightly, but if it's true that they corrected flaws in Knight Commander in the recolour then that at least shows they care about the quality too.

My friend on the inside tells me that MMC has been experiencing problems with the quality of plastic concerning that figure, and it's especially a problem considering how fragile the design is. Oh well, the more they take their time, the better the product will be.

The last picture says that he's 8.5 inches, so he should be about Voyager sized.

I would love them to take their time on a quality product, if only to prevent the misfortune of the HoS Prime. Unfortunately, I do not own either Prime or Annihilator, but reading and watching other reviews, they got it right with the repaint.
The last info that was posted from MMC (on their homepage) was the parts layout, and sure did look involved. I hope all goes well, because that is a figure I would like to display!

For instance, does the toy have something to cover the upper legs, or make them appear visually connected, in wolf and gun modes? Does the wolf mode have a tail, or front feet separate from its legs? Does the truck mode have a hood which doesn't look caved in? Are the tank tracks covered in the non-tank modes? Are the truck wheels retractable? Does the robot mode have ankles, neck and/or hand articulation, a waist joint?
If it's going to be brought completely up to date, too, is it going to get c-clips anywhere?

I'm pretty sure they are still shooting for a December release.
As far as Sixshot goes, I'm interested. I don't know much about the character but if it meant to fit in with the Classics stuff, I'm on board.

And I just measured my G1 Sixshot- 10" from bottom to the top of shoulders. He's slightly shorter than G1, but is bigger than the DOTM voyager, which are roughly 7" tall.
I may get this one, myself. I would like to see some official images before confirming..........hell, what am I saying.........he was one of my favorite toys of all time, so I'm sure I'll be getting him...

El duque, the guy who posted this thread. revealed the 3rd party Hexatron toy is 8.5 inches tall in robot mode.
I seem to remember my original 1987 Sixshot toy being over 10 inches tall in robot mode.
the cool thing about this 3rd party Hexatron toy is it's 8.5 inches tall. it's cool because it's in the current MP TF toy scale of MP Grimlock,MP Starscream & MP Rodimus. and soon to be MP-10 Optimus.
8.5 inch scale is also great because it's in the AEC,ANIMATED Leader size scale.
8.5 is too tall for this hexatron to be considered a $27 usa ultra size toy. as no $27 usa ultra sized toy has made it barely over 8 inches tall in robot mode.
I love this 3rd party Hexatron toy.
it's a dream come true. I've longed for a super poseable sixshot toy for decades.
This pre-order can't go up faster enough. as soon as I see the pre-order i'm clicking on the button & ordering 2.

From his feet to the top of his head he might be voyager, but overall height you're looking at ultra.

I seriously doubt the 3rd party company creating hexatron mis-mesaured the robot mode in-properly from toes to wings.
the 3rd party company most likely measured the hexatron toy properly from head to toe.
most likely the hexatron robot mode toy is 8.5 inches from head to toe.
looking at all those 3rd party hexatron toys. the toy is way to fat & tall from head to toe in robot mode to be a voyager sized toy.
