Toywiz.com has MP Megs listed as unopened. Hopefully that is true.

He's a sweet figure guys. You're gonna love him regardless of the orange cap (mine has no cap, but I ordered via Ebay to avoid such things
)

I ordered mine from superbeeds and the cap was incredibly easy to remove. It came out with no force at all and you couldn't even tell it had been opened. No glue.
It is absolutely amazing though. The only problem is thay his feet seem moderately loose so he is hard to make stand in anything but a straight legged boring pose. He just very fragile and would not enjoy a fall. Still is a perfect addition to the MP line.
Who should be next?
I vote Soundwave or an Ultra Magnus trailer/armor.

Actually, I wouldnt mind seeing Bumbleebee. I think the Masterpiece line up could do with bit of yellow.

I live in Canada and we don't have to worry about all this crap. Kinda stupid that you have such strict gun laws in the US and yet you have the highest rates of gun violence in the western world. Time to rewrite the Constitution yah think?

I think we all know I wouldn't have a problem with that.
But it seems they are sticking to characters that aren't cars so they can keep the alternator cars in the mix. Bumblebee has never really been official a volkswagon beetle, so maybe they can make a design of a car that is LIKE a beetle, kinda like the original toy.
As for Grimlock...wouldn't have a problem there either. I absolutely love this line. I want to see:
1. Soundwave
2. Ultra Magnus (real)
3. Shockwave
4. Bumblebee
5. Grimlock
6. Jetfire
7. Perceptor
8. Arcee
9. Hot Rod
10.Astrotrain
and the dream.......Devastator

Gotta second the Grimlock vote for the next MP...
The only other places I know of that are not putting in the cap are Robotkingdom and Action-HQ...

possible but unlikely, I'm picturing a hollow tube. Unless they're planning to use the end of the barrel as a plug hole for the silencer.

Or not fit.

All of these would be kinda nice, though I would really like an Arcee based off the G1 design at some point.

How durable is Megatron? To me, Megatron’s legs look flimsy. Also, I have read a few reports that describe him as a great figure to look at, but dock the figure on durability. One report even stated that Megatron would most likely break if dropped. MP Prime is great because he is great to look at, and he is solid in construction.

Yeah, Prime is pretty durable! I have the Hasbro version (the first time it was released). I had it displayed on an 8 foot high shelf and it fell one day. The head popped off (which pops right back on), but that was it! Perfectly okay and still on display (at a lower hight, don't want to risk it)!

Hmm, if you were to drop him while half transformed then yes I would say you would be likely to snap something, he is basically a skeleton of plastic joints with bits hanging off. He is more robust in robot mode as everything clips into place. The legs are pretty strong. The joints are nice and ratcheted and pretty sturdy. Not that I would want to drop him to test but I think that he would survive a tumble. His feet are on ball joints and if these were to become loose then these would be the weak spots and you would need to put him in a well balanced pose, especially with his arm cannon. I dont know why the designers didnt use ratchets on these joints, maybe they just couldnt.
Do what I do and put all the fragile stuff on a shelf over a sofa or bed.

I'm getting mines from BBTS on 16th, hopefully I can take the plug out. Oh, and how can you drill it out?
(I also ordered from CapturePrey.com, will see if it gets here without the orange cap, if not, I'm ordering another one from a different site.)

Shouldnt be that hard. If its a sold plastic is will be easier than if its a rubber. Just use ever increasing sized drill bits to bore out the cap. If there is glue on the very end of the barrel you might have a hard time removing it without causing damage but if you are careful with a hacksaw or sharp craft knife you should get away with it. You can always touch up and silver paint afterwards.
