It's okay, just not as good as Prime or Bumblebee. I like the CD shurikens, though. Nice though.

This is, in my opinion, the absolute worst of the movie designs... Ironic, considering Barricade is one of the best. Ah well.

Yes, exactly. It's like the designers prefer the skeleton of a TF to the bulky outside. Weird.

maybe in toy form, but IIRC, he's supposed to wind up being about 3 ft taller than most people, so it wouldn't work.Shadowman wrote:You know, now that I think about it, if he had one of those Hologram pilots like Blackout, he'd make a pretty cool Pretender.

YOu know, if he would move his head slightly to the left you could clear up the static on your TV.

Nyaa, he's creepy looking. I won't be able to sleep for a week for fear he'll eat my kitty.
But then again I suppose that was the intended effect. o.O

Seriously though, my FAILURE sense is tingling. I can't believe the sheer amount of crap the Movie people is handing out to us. There's only so much we can take, we can only suspend our disbelieve for so long.
Honestly, I refuse to buy a single Movie figure because I just can't support these terrible designs and decisions (I know that going to see the movie is supporting it somewhat, so I'm hoping I can get free passes from Legends like I did for Borat). I'm just hoping that when the movie is over and done with, that future Generations do not adopt design ideas from the Bayformers, or I might just have to give up collecting modern/new Transformers altogether, which would be a total shame.

C-R-A-?
I'd like to buy a "P" please, and I'll solve the puzzle.

I, like so many others, do feel abused as well. Really, I could have done without Cullen if they got some of the other things right. But, as it is, they've done very little for me and so many other hardcore fans, yet they pretend they have.
I'm pretty sickened at this point.

Oh, why bother!
There's no use hating Bay anyway.
Thanks for ruining the franchise, Mikey.
Why couldn't you stick to the essence of what made Transformers great?! You just had to take us in a new direction, huh? I honestly haven't liked anything I've seen thus far, boys. Garbage, garbage, garbage!!!
Oh, thanks again, Hasbro, for selling out the G1 fans and offering us more poop.
At least I can still turn to Takara/Tomy for real Transformers.
Jeez!

Yeah, I said that back when the package pics of Barricade showed up. I imagine something akin to Zeta Project. As far as his height, he has enough articulation and little enough mass that he could probably scrunch to match personas of differing heights...

Actually, much more the opposite, sadly. If we don't support the movie, TF's could be deemed unprofitable on the whole, & the entire toyline would slip away into obscurity.Grimshock wrote:Again, nothing but utter garbage. I hope that all you guys who are just as disappointed as I am do nothing to support this movie. Don't watch it, don't buy the toys, etc, etc. Otherwise, it will never get better for us again and TF's may as well just die.
It's a double-edged sword, really. If we do support it, Hasbro makes money, they put more focus on TFs & we get a shitload of toys, albeit most of them will be based off of these horrific designs. If we don't support it.....well, I already mentioned what would happen then.
Something odd about business execs: when people stop buying into a product, instead of even attempting to try to figure out what went wrong & make it better, they just assume nobody likes it anymore & move on to the next potential goldmine, throwing the older product to the wayside. It happens when a toyline dosen't sell, when a TV show dosen't get the intended ratings....hell, it happens when people start favoring one flavor of ice cream instead of another.
So basically, we have a choice to support grabage in hopes that the garbage will later get filtered out to some degree....or we can choose not to support it, & the good stuff gets thrown out with said garbage.

Yeah that's about the sum of it, eh?
As for "Frenzy", man he looks like an evil pointy metallic turd. I'd hate to pass that through my colon.

On the other hand, I'll betcha he'd make one heck of a Cuisanart...that's it! He's a Salad Shooter!
Don't like it. And I've been in favor of most of the movie designs. Don't like it at all...looks WAY to fragile. Scary, yes. Tough, no way.

Or on the other hand if we don't support the movie and Hasbro moves on them the demand for Transformers will go down and thus so will the prices, something I am hoping for since I plan on building up my G1 collection during the movie run, thus causing vintage TF's to become a commodity on E-bay and other internet stores. Hasbro seeing the upswing in TF sales will be roused into taking another look at the Transformers brand and more importantly what is moving on the net. This is a long term view and might take quite a few years but in the end the results will be worth it.
