New Details on Sins of the Wreckers Comic

Va'al is currently at Auto Assembly and has gotten some fun tidbits to share with us regarding the upcoming Sins of the Wreckers comic:

Va'al wrote:Prowl kidnapped, leaves message: I only want one team to come find me: my friends the Wreckers.

Verity pretty much leading, some new characters, plus Hubcap and Stakeout. 'WreckerLeaks' underlying the plot, what was in the files given to Prowl? Quite serious tone, but usual Roche silliness too.

This is very much in line with the already unveiled solicit:

Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers #1 (of 5)—SPOTLIGHT
Nick Roche (w & a & c)
THE WRECKERS RETURN! Somebody’s kidnapped PROWL… but does anybody want him back? A lifetime of messing with everybody’s lives comes around to haunt him. Fortunately, he’s always got a plan. In this case… the one team of brutal, broken heroes… the WRECKERS!

Well, last we saw, hadn't Rattrap sort of kidnapped Prowl after Prime beat the tar out of him?

I believe they were more or less allied together :BOT:

Who knows with Rattrap, he seems to be playing his own game. He's been seen helping Starscream, Prowl and Windblade, even though all three of them have differing agendas.

In further comics news from IDW Publishing, and via fellow Seibertron.com member ScottyP, artist Alex Milne has tweeted the clean cover, with colours by Josh Perez for the upcoming first issue of Sins of the Wreckers, the Nick Roche/Josh Burcham sequel (but not directly) to the extremely popular Last Stand of the Wreckers. Check out the mirrored image below, featuring an action shot of the original Wrecking crew, from Springer to Whirl to Impactor!

Haha, nice! All those art pieces we got, like the transformers/GI joe movie crossover stuff ends up as my laptop background, which is fun :BOT:

I wonder where this fits in the timeline, cause Rack'n'Ruin are still alive, Springer's not in a coma, Whirl and Broadside are still with the Wreckers, and Sandstorm is still rocking his toy-accurate, early IDW faceplate-look.

I believe this is supposed to be current stuff, like 2015 stuff, but there are flashbacks to where some of these guys are coming from :BOT:

This is an incentive cover. It probably has nothing to do at all with the actual contents of the issue, or the series.

That pic doesn't look too bad. Generally not a fan of his artwork due to the often ugly, overly cartoony goblin-like faces on a lot of them.
